In the late Adams mansion, it had been 6 months since Olima Adams lost her parents to a car accident. She had been living with her stepmother and stepsister since then, as they made her a maid and withdrew her from her education.

Leo Adams had married Zoe Nelson, and she gave birth to a baby girl with brown sparkling eyes named Olima Adams. After Olima's birth, Zoe had complications.

Zoe cried because she wanted to give her husband more children, but he assured her that his love for her would not change.

Two years later, Leo spoke to his wife about his intention to marry a second wife who would birth him more children, particularly a son to inherit all his properties and bear his name, instead of adopting a son, as Olima was a girl.

Zoe became emotional and afraid of another woman coming into her home and turning her husband's heart against her, so she spoke to her best friend, Gina Edwards, to accept and marry her husband.

Zoe and Gina had been best friends before, as they attended the same high school and lived on the island where billionaire families lived. They remained friends even after Zoe had married.

Zoe did not know that Gina had secretly admired her husband. She proposed to Gina to accept and marry Leo.

Gina accepted the marriage without delay, moving into the white mansion to live with them.

When Gina arrived, she changed and began quarreling with Zoe.

Gina told Zoe to leave the master's bedroom so that she and Leo could use it, since Zoe could not birth another child for Leo.

Leo was shocked at Gina's changed attitude, as she dared to quarrel with Zoe and even called Zoe a witch for refusing to exit the master's bedroom.

Leo became annoyed and threatened to divorce Gina the following day.

Gina calmed and switched back to the good friend she was to Zoe, begging her to plead with their husband not to divorce her.

Leo told Gina, "How dare you come into my house today and quarrel with your best friend. I regret marrying you, Gina, and Olima will inherit all my properties tomorrow. Even though she marries a man and changes her surname to her husband's name, she will still be my daughter. Get ready to leave my house tomorrow, as our marriage is over!"

Gina begged Zoe to plead with their husband not to divorce her.

Zoe sighed, as she was the one who had asked Gina to accept and marry her husband.

Zoe pleaded on Gina's behalf, and Leo finally allowed Gina stayed in the mansion with them in a separate bedroom.

Gina hated Zoe from that day forward, as she avoided speaking with Zoe. She felt that Zoe and their husband had conspired to marry her and bring her into the mansion to show her how lovely a couple they were.

One day, Gina went into Zoe's room and pleaded with her to allow their husband to spend a night with her, since that was why Leo had married her.

Zoe waited for Leo to arrive home that night and spoke to him to spend his night with Gina in her bedroom, to see if Gina would birth him a son, as was the reason he had married Gina.

Leo refused, as he was avoiding Gina and did not want to have anything to do with her, since he regretted marrying her. After Zoe sent him away, Leo had no other option than to spend his night in Gina's bedroom, and he made love to Gina.

A month later, Gina remained jealous and continued hating Zoe after seeing that Leo loved Zoe much more than her. She had thought he would love only her and leave Zoe because of her inability to birth him more children.

Instead, Leo left Gina away, refusing to eat her food and avoiding her. This provoked Gina, and she quarreled with Zoe again.

Leo became annoyed and brought a divorce paper home, ordering Gina to sign it and leave his house.

Gina refused, telling her husband, "I'm pregnant."

Leo could not send Gina away with his child growing in her womb. He allowed her to stay in his mansion with them on the condition that Gina would live in the boys-quarters apartment, away from the white mansion, and she would not quarrel with Zoe again.

Gina accepted, as she had no other option and did not want to leave the house.

Eight months later, Gina gave birth to a baby girl named Mia Adams.

Leo never came to her again to see if they could have more children, and most importantly, a son.

Fourteen years later, Gina's hatred for Leo and Zoe grew worse. It was only once in her 14-year marriage that Leo touched her and made love to her, as he claimed he regretted marrying her.

Gina knew she could not leave Leo's house to remarry, as their townspeople had already mocked her for accepting to marry her best friend's husband, and her parents had not supported her marrying Leo. She had thought Leo would love her, but he did not love her and avoided her instead.

Gina knew that if she became pregnant to see if she could birth a son for Leo, he would know the son was not his, as he only accepted Mia to live in the main mansion with them when Mia wanted, was because Mia was his biological daughter, and Olima also wanted a younger sister to play with.

Gina's heart turned cold, and she contacted a truck driver to ram into Leo and Zoe's car. She knew they were going to the high school for Olima and Mia's graduation ceremony, with Olima graduating from college and Mia entering senior class.

Gina confirmed the driver's job was successful, and she killed the truck driver to hide her secret.

Three months after the burial ceremony ended, Gina moved back into the main mansion her late husband and his wife had sent her away from. She dismissed all the maids, turning Olima into her servant and withdrawing Olima from her tutorial class.

Family members who had been silent started visiting the main mansion to know who would take over late Mr. Leo's wealth and oil company.

Gina was a brutal woman. She arrested all her in-laws and accused them of killing her late husband and his wife.

All the arrested in-laws had to bail themselves and sign an undertaking never to disturb Gina and her family again.

Later, Gina contacted Mr. Leo's lawyer to know about his will, as she remembered Leo had told her that Olima would inherit all his properties.

Gina could have killed Olima, but she did not want her only daughter Mia to be alone in the big house and without a sister.

Gina decided not to kill Olima, turning her into her lifetime maid, knowing no one would come to Olima's rescue.

When the lawyer arrived, he told Gina, "Mr. Leo's will cannot be changed. The will states that the oil company should be given to Olima Adams when she turns 24 years old."

Gina became annoyed and sent the lawyer away. She thought about how she would change the will to become her own and her daughter's property alone.
