Chapter 6

Jane was experiencing some discomfort.

New York is home to numerous affluent families, but the Wolfes reign supreme.

The heir to the Wolfe family is Damien Wolfe.

Jane may have heard of Damien Wolfe before as he was rumored to be entering the entertainment industry.

Did she really fall for the first man in New York she met?

Or is he just trying to deceive her?

Damien seems to read her thoughts and smirked, "Would you like to see my identification?"

Jane shook her head, knowing that IDs can be forged these days.

However, she noticed the expensive Patek Philippe watch on the table when she reached for her ID.

"In that case, let's discuss marriage," Damien proposed calmly.

Jane coldly refused, "I don't agree."

Damien picked up his phone and threatened to call the police, "Then it seems I have no choice."

Jane pleaded, "Please don't!"

"Then you agree?" Damien asked with interest.

Jane gritted her teeth, not wanting to agree, but feeling powerless in this situation.

Damien reassured her, "Don't worry, I won't let you suffer."

Jane looked at him with annoyance, wondering if all wealthy people are this ruthless.

Damien suggested they change clothes before continuing their discussion, to show his sincerity and respect.

Jane realized she was naked under the quilt while Damien was only in his underwear.

She quickly grabbed her clothes and headed to the bathroom, feeling embarrassed.

In the bathroom, Jane examined the marks on her body in the mirror, feeling frustrated.

She had just escaped from Director Rebel's grasp, and now she has fallen into another trap.

Ciara was the one who initiated all of this. If she hadn't drugged Jane, she wouldn't have slept with someone and been recorded. Jane felt an intense hatred towards Ciara.

However, her priority now was to deal with Damien Wolfe. She knew he was not an easy person to handle.

Jane finished washing up and came out to find Damien dressed and making a phone call on the balcony in a foreign language she couldn't understand.

As he turned around to face her, Jane noticed a change in his demeanor. He seemed more composed and elegant in his shirt and trousers, revealing his aristocratic upbringing.

Jane called out to him, and he turned around to face her. She noticed a change in her own body as well, as if she had retracted her claws.

Damien surprised Jane by proposing to marry her, offering to find the best doctors to treat her hospitalized brother and help her with any other difficulties. In exchange, he asked for her help in silencing his family's objections to their marriage.

Jane was taken aback and asked, "Why me?"
