Jared stared at May as she walked away to the dining area like nothing happened. All those words rang in his ear, he couldn't fathom why she is doing that. He followed her to the dining to talk to her.

“What exactly are you talking about? I don't know what I did to you or why you are being like this but you need to stop! You didn't say you were going to leave so soon.“ He protested, watching her sit down at a chair close to his.

“I don't recall telling you I would be living here with you. I just wanted to get away from everyone and I only happened to get with you because I had no other choice. Stop making it look like it's an obligation for me.“ She replied, showing the anger that she had been trying hard to conceal.

She already decided she would leave. She shouldn't care if his flings stay in that room but somehow, she did not want to be compared to those kind of people. She felt her anger is justified.
