MOON’s POV

“YOU?!”

I pointed a finger at his face as soon as I figured out who he was.

His brows furrowed when he tapped my hands away from his face. “Don’t you dare point a finger at me like that!”

“W-What are you doing here?!”

“What?”

“I said, what are you doing inside Mr. Dompteur’s office?” I asked him with my brows raising.

As long as I could remember, his name was Brent Castillo, not Leon Dompteur.

All of a sudden, he laughed sarcastically while looking at me. “And same with you, your resume here says that you are MoonLeigh Fuentes, not Prestine Gonzales.”

And that shut me up.

I heaved a deep sigh. “Alright, alright. Why don’t we sit down first and I will explain everything to you?”

“Wait, are you bossing me around?”

“Huh?”

“This is my company, so you don’t have any right to just tell me what to do.”

I looked at him as if he was crazy. “Hey, I didn’t even do anything to you. I am just asking you to sit down. If you don’t want to sit down, then fine. Just stand there.”

“So tell me, who really are you? Is your name really Prestine Gonzales, or you are MoonLeigh Fuentes?”

“I am MoonLeigh Fuentes. I just pretended to be my best friend, Prestine Gonzales because she didn’t want to date someone like you.”

His eyes widened. “What did you say?!”

“I’m just kidding. So, how about you? Who really are you? Are you Brent Castillo or Leon Dompteur?”

He suddenly took out an i.d and put that in front of me.

My eyes widened and I immediately stood up as soon as I found out what his real name was.

“M-Mr. Dompteur…”

Ah, what did I just do?

He really is my boss?!

“You are a friend of Miss Prestine Gonzales?”

“Y-Yes…” I replied without even looking at him.

I couldn’t look at him, knowing that for sure he could still clearly remember what I said and did when we met that night.

I even punched him…

And those things that I just said to him a while ago.

“Can you see this bruise on the side of my lips? Do you know who did this?” he suddenly said with a tone of sarcasm.

I bit my lower lip as I tried to avoid his gaze at me.

“You were so talkative that night, so how come you are so quiet right now?”

Still, I didn’t answer him.

“Do you know that I hate it when someone’s not responding to me? Answer me!”

I got startled by the sudden rise of his voice. With my hands shaking, I looked at him. “I-I didn’t really mean to do that. I-I just got carried away because I thought you were a pervert…”

“A what?!”

“B-Because you acted like a total perverted man…” I almost whispered.

“H-Hey, do you even know who are you talking to, right now?”

“I-I’m sorry… I-I just really need the money and I wanted to help my best friend…”

“And do you think I’ll let you slide that easily?”

Why can’t he just forgive me already?!

“L-Look, I-I’m really sorry, okay? I didn’t really mean those words that I told you that night, sir.”

“What did you say to me again that night? My parents found me on a dog’s poop?!”

I just want the floor to eat me alive now!

Why did I even say that to him?!

“I-I already told you.. I just got carried away… B-But actually, I really think you are handsome.” I said, trying to convince him by complimenting him.

That’s right. This is what I should do instead.

I looked at him and smiled widely. “Actually, you are the most handsome man that I have ever seen in my life, sir. You have a perfect pair of eyes, pointed nose, kissable lips, you are also---

“Shut up!”

I stopped talking as soon as he shouted so loud in my face.

“Do you really think I will forgive you just because of your damn compliments?!”

“Please, I didn’t mean to say those things… Please forgive me, sir. I really need this job..”

All of a sudden, he stood up and looked at me. “Get lost.”

“S-Sir?”

“Are you deaf? I said, get lost!”

“S-Sir, please… I really need this job…. I will do everything just for you to forgive me… please…” I pleaded.

But I must have encountered a devil because instead of forgiving me, he looked at me with fiery eyes and gritted teeth. “GET FUCKING LOST!”

With my hands balled into a fist, I stood up and glared at him. “Fine! I’ll leave now, you grumpy CEO! Do you really think you are that handsome?! Well, for your information, you look like a dragon! No one’s going to date you ever!”

“JUST FUCKING LEAVE!”

“I WILL! GOODBYE!”

I brought my bag with me as I ran outside.

I could feel tears filling my eyes as I stepped inside the elevator.

What kind of man is he? Just because I said those things to him, he’ll already treat me like this? He was the one who said awful things about me first, he told me that I am a lowly lady and that he can get me whenever he wants and now he’s acting like I was the one who hurt his feelings?!

He even asked me to go have sex with him!

“PERVERT!” I yelled so loud when I finally stepped out of that hell.

I wiped the tears from my eyes then I started walking since I don’t even have money to call a cab.

That man is the meanest guy I have ever encountered in my whole life. Why is he so mad at me when he was the one who told me awful things that night?! Just because he's Mr. Dompteur he already thinks that he can just do whatever he wants?! He pretended to be his best friend too, so it was his fault that I said those things to him!

I didn't even know that he would be my boss! If I knew, then I wouldn't agree about what Prestine told me. I would have just declined her offer.

Well, anyway, I don't even care about that! I don't want to work under a mean boss!

I really hate that man!
