Evelyn

I stirred in my sleep feeling the bright rays of sun on my face.I tried to get up but my whole body cramped  due to sleeping on the hard floor.

Cold breeze which was entering from thr open window soothed me a bit.

My eyes were burning.After the struggle of few minutes finally I managed my limp body on my weak legs and went inside the bathroom .

I saw my reflection in the mirror.I was not looking less than a walking zombie.My hairs seemed a bird nest and red swollen eyes made my appearance of a heavy drunkard.

All the bitter memories again clouded my senses,my forceful marriage,his parwnts calling me names and a new shade of his personality.

I splashed cold water on my face and winced when the water doubled the burning sensation in my eyes.I brushed my teeth to get rid of morning stink.Then took a warm shower which helped my sore muscles a lot.
