I saw him flipping pancakes from the living room. He looked like a Greek god. But I really wanted to go to him and punch him on his face hard. I looked around and saw that this house was different not the one in which I was before. He brought pancakes neatly on two plates. He kept the plate in front of me and the other one on the opposite of me. He sat there and I quickly picked up the knife and the fork and started to eat. I was starving. He looked at me like he wanted to say something. I could see through his eyes. I noticed his face and it was looking dull. He had black patches under his eyes and he was looking so tired. His eyes which used to remain so shiny lost their shine.

"Is this your second home?" I asked finally breaking the awkward silence.

"Yeah. I come here sometimes" he said looking down at his plate while I nodded.
