CHAPTER 68

A week later.

In the silence of night,

from moon,

to the stars,

till the rays of sun,

with eyes fixed on the

lovers’ intertwined hands,

I see you.

in the tiny breaths,

with the tiny steps I take,

Why does my feet want to run

to you?

Is it because, you are the cure to the madness living in me?

I scribble the words in my diary before writing the next line.

Or is it the the madness, you left in me, with your fading touch?

“Butterfly?” Jack’s voice startles me, hiding the diary under the pillow, “Yes, are you ready?”

“Yeah, just a minute.” Looking at myself in the mirror, I give a light touch to my hair, before leaving the room.

His gaze falls on me, I smile at him, “You look beautiful.”

“You look nice too.” I murmur, he offers me his hand and I take it.

As we sit in mustang, he drives, my mind takes me back,

all I did, was cry in my room.

Locking myself in the room, with no lights on, I slept or atleast tried to escape from it all, but even in dreams he haunts me.

The mirror haunts me,
