Chapter 11

Brown sandals and a white summer dress. I stare at the mountain surrounding me. Where is everyone? Where is Amelia?

My eyes search everywhere as I move fast but no one is there not even a sound of a human, only the crashing of the water against the rocks. Thunder strikes as the blue sky is now covered with dark gray, clouds “Lily.” a whisper echoes in the air making my leg slip and I fall.

try to stand up but I can’t as if invisible hands are trapping me, I can’t move. Blood splashes on my white dress, I scream and my head whips to the right a man stands on the cliff like a shadow he is dark.

Just a few steps and he will fall.

Suddenly, he starts to move towards the edge, his steps echo like a haunted curse. I want to scream stop but it’s like I don’t have control of my own body.

My eyes scream please don’t do it but it does nothing as he takes step after step and on the last step, light shines on his eyes, dark blue orbs staring back at me.
