Kayla seemed very strong now and could even go anywhere she wished to. For that, I decided to stick to grandpa's warning. If Kayla was still at the hospital and still very sick, grandpa would have to pardon me for breaking his rule today. But I don't have to do that anymore, as my Kayla was fully back at life. I drove vigorously to go pick Selene up to drop her at my family house just as Grandpa instructed to always do. However, when I got there, the sight I met Mesmerized my whole being. I thought I had lost feelings for Selene since the arrival of my first love. But that doesn't seemed to be the case as my heart beat faster upon seeing her in the red dress I got her. She was still in perfect shape. Her tiny waist defining her beauty and her white skin which was almost as white as a snow fit perfectly with the gown. I was wowed into my skin. I still love Selene. She was my wife. I had chosen her for a reason and most of those reasons hasn't been lost yet. I knew I had been neglecting her for Kayla but what could I do, Kayla was my best friend and also very important in my life even if I wouldn't be able to court her again. "Let's go." My voice echoed with my eyes still glued on Selene as she walked perfectly in her hills. She was epitome of beauty. I brought out my arm for her to grab. Even though she seemed okay walking in those hills, I still needed to help her, but she hesitated before grabbing it. My smile widened. Selene's POV. What had come over Ethan. When I said he was struck by my beauty again, I wasn't lying. Because why did he brought out his arms for me to hold? That was something even when he was still caring and loving he never did. My eyes went from his face to his arm. His face was unusually soft. I could swear that was a bright smile I saw on Ethan's face even though it was just slight tilt of his lips. Yea, because since Kayla returned I had not seen so much as a smirk on his lips. I had no choice but to take the arm, I was already feeling some pains on my toes. He walked me majestically to his car and held the door for me. God in heaven knew I almost screamed. What come over Ethan, he opened his car door for me? Was I that pretty? Am I getting him back? Should I dress everyday like this till he finally come back to me? Several thoughts ran through my mind as I remained glued there until he called my name, jolting me back. "Selene." I swiftly turned to look at his face, he was standing up close, too close. I nodded and got into my seat. As he drove off, inside the car was a silent avenue. With his eyes glancing at me every here and there. I could say I had my husband falling in love with me over again. Not long after, we arrived at his family house. Everyone had gathered already. The first person my eyes met was Lucielle. She saw me too and as usual, she wasn't going to disappoint as she walked up to me. "Hey Selene.." Her voice beamed. "Lucielle.." I called with a slight smile. She was my bully who knows what she'd say next? "You look beautiful by the way.." she muttered and my brows raised. She had never complemented anything I put on my body, instead she insult me, not failing to call me a poverty stricken b!tch that his cousin rescued. "Did you sow this?" Her voice jolted me back from my thoughts. What did she mean by that? "Arw you referring to me?" I asked pointing at myself.. As if Ethan Nathan heard that, he stopped greeting Midway and looked back between me and Lucielle. His eyes purposely on Lucielle. He knew what she used to do.
