"Hayden's POV"

Making a stop at my favorite drinking spot with Ray, I got down from my car and walked in. I had earlier called Ray that I needed to see him.

I took a seat in the usual position which had always been kept for Ray and I, and brought out my phone.

I was more in a state of confusion like no other before. My heart had not stopped thumping hard and even harder since I laid my eyes on him. Even while I was watching Sarah sob close to him, I could feel something changing.

There were unexplainable feelings surging through my entire body. Shouldn't I hate him with so much passion? But then why was there a little trace of pity in my eyes. What emotions had spurred out from me.

I tightened my hands into fist at the thought of it. I could have broken the glass right in front of me, but Ray rushed towards me and collected it before I would do something stupid.
