Ignoring her

After saying my goodbye to Beverly, I fixed myself and paced around the living room before I could go ahead and meet the grumpy man. I had to say, Beverly was a kind-hearted woman. I hated the way Monica spoke to her but keeping that aside, I knocked on the door to the study room and moved back as I waited for the man inside to say a come in. I was a little nervous as I fiddled with my cold hands, digging my nails in my palm while biting my bottom lip anxiously.
