Eighty two: Phone call

Working on my laptop, I sat on my bed, and grabbed my phone to call my secretary. Shortly, I dialed her number, and waited for her to answer her phone as it rang. 

"Hello sir. Good evening," she greeted, sounding quite grumpy. Ok, I could understand why she'd be grumpy. It was Sunday, and I was about to ask her to work?

"I'm so sorry Brit," I apologized first, smiling at the tiredness in her voice. It was the first time I heard her sound so apathetic over the phone. Brittany was a really hard working person, and I so much liked her for it. Although I called her by her first name, I still gave her the full respect she deserved. I just wasn't used to being so formal with people I always stayed around with. It was one of the reasons I asked Jill to call me Jace, instead of Mr. Flores.  

"There's no problem sir. What do you need?
