Elisa couldn't wait to get out of the resort as she didn't want to imagine the embarrassment that she was bound to face if she had not woken up before him. Immediately the elevator door opened, countless lights flashed in her face as a crowd of reporters gathered at the front line of the elevator with their cameras and microphones ready." Miss Davis, how long have you and Mr Ashton known each other?" Someone asked and Elisa's eyes widened in shock.

" How long have you been dating?" Another reporter asked, interrupting her thoughts.

" Was it your idea to keep your relationship a secret from the public?"

" How does it feel to be touched by a billionaire?" The questions kept coming as each of the reporters had different questions in mind which she didn't have answers to.

Elisa who was yet to understand what was going on felt a little numb as the lights kept flashing in her face. Despite being an actress Elisa had never encountered reporters in such a rushed manner since she was still a new baby in the industry. Not once has she been approached by reporters maybe because she hasn't gone public yet but what was happening? Elisa wondered.

Lost and confused Elisa's eyes moved across the place with embarrassment written on her face, luckily it was early in the morning and the population was still sleeping.

She hoped her best friend had nothing to do with this because she knew how dramatic she could be. With Mia, a lot of things were possible especially when she was a ran away heiress.

" Miss Davis, do you have plans to settle down with a man like Noah Ashton?"

Before any feather questions, four security guards arrived and managed to save Elisa from the public humiliation she called. The reporters were kicked out of the resort in no time since it was a private space and therefore required the permission of the management before any reporter could be allowed inside.

Elisa couldn't wrap her hand around what just happened. Could it be that, she shook her head.

Throughout the drive back home, Elisa seemed occupied and deep in thought. She couldn't make anything out of what happened back at the resort.

Her phone suddenly rang in her bag.

“ Elisa, you ungrateful child. I raised you like a daughter, I did everything I could to bring you up as a noble even though you are nothing but an orphan!” Her mother's angry voice shot from the other side. “ You dare lie against the richest man in Garden City. The family has now officially disowned you. Don't call us for help if Mr Ashton comes for you, ungrateful soul” Amanda hugged up after she finished saying what she wanted to say.

Tears poured down from her eyes as she turned to look out the window. Throughout her days in the Davis mansion, Elisa has done one thing and that was to love and appreciate them even though they didn't deserve it.

She loved them despite how awful they treated her but now she guessed it was time for her to love herself as well.

Her phone rang again and this time it was Christian, her ex. Why was he calling her? Elisa's eyes turned red just by looking at the screen of her phone. In the past, she used to wait for his call every morning because talking to him used to color her day.

She cleaned her face and picked the next call that came" Elisa, where are you?" The familiar female voice rang in her ears and her lips parted in seconds.

" The manager wants to see you now" she added before she could say anything, the panic in her voice didn't skip her.

" Ahh..."

" I wouldn't keep him waiting if I were you,'' she said and the line went dead. " To Hills Entertainment," she said to the driver and the car took a turn to the left, luckily for her they weren't far from the company. Soon the car was riding on the main road leading to Mid Hills Entertainment Company.

As much as she wanted to relax she couldn't bring herself to do so.

So much was running in her mind that she couldn't bring herself to think straight. It was as if the world was fighting against her.

Why would the director call her? Elisa had never had an official encounter with the manager except his assistant who normally shows up on set.

Being summoned by the manager himself wasn't normal it wasn't something she could take lightly. Everyone in Mid Hills Entertainment knows how strict the manager could be and it was no news how rude he acts towards the entertainment crew.

After fifteen minutes the car halted in front of the huge building of Hills Entertainment and Elisa hurried out.

The minute she stepped inside the building of Mid Hills Entertainment heads turned in her direction and the atmosphere turned stiff. The different expressions showing on their faces got Elisa on her heels.

It was unfortunate that the news of her affair with the Billionaire, Noah Ashton has spread like wildfire it is currently the most trending topic on social media and in the country as a whole.

The story had taken over the headlines of most newspapers in the country as well as the numerous blogs on social media which didn't seem to please a lot of people, especially those ladies who had a crush on the billionaire.

Elisa didn't pay much attention to them as she slipped into the elevator. It wasn't in her nature to feel relaxed in a moment like this. Besides, being summoned by the manager of the biggest entertainment house in the country was enough to put a simple girl like Elisa in a pool of fear.

Right at the first door on her left, Elisa forced herself to knock. She didn't know why the director was suddenly interested in her.

" Come in " the voice rang from inside and Elisa took a few breaths before pushing the door open.

"It's a privilege to finally meet you, Miss Davis," He said, his voice soft, polite, and welcoming." Please have a seat" he raised from his seat with a smile and gestured with his hand for her to sit down which was weird. His action made Elisa more restless.

" Miss Davis, I want to personally applaud you for your good work," he said, pleased and Elisa frowned not sure what he was talking about nor why he was sounding as if she was doing him a favor when it was the other way around.

Besides, Charles Mason was a well-known figure in the entertainment industry. He was mostly known for his good work and good productions. Not only was he good at producing good movies but also a good music producer with two or three big musicians under his wings. His reputation in the industry was quite scary but listening to him speak, Elisa wondered if what she heard about him was even true. How could a man with such a scary reputation be this kind to her? She didn't seem to understand what was going on. " For feather confirmation, I watched your recent movie and your kind of talent is exactly what we need in this company and I'm looking forward to having a long-term contract with you" He requested since Elisa's contract with the company has almost expired.

It would be a waste to let such an opportunity slip. Not only was Elisa talented but also beautiful. He must say, he was impressed with her acting skills which didn't come around often.

She was a natural. The acting, the vibe, and everything seemed to come to her naturally.

" Thank you, sir," Elisa said and the man smiled. " You don't have to call me sir," he said delightfully and Elisa's lips hung open, not sure what he meant.

" This script is easy to understand but if you need any help I will be honored to assist you " he pushed the file to her and Elisa's gaze dropped down at it in silence.

She had a dream of playing such roles in the future. Besides, that was every actor's dream and Elisa was no exception.

" But sir....."

" Just prepare for your next movie role as Bella" he interrupted and Elisa's eyes widened in shock.

Bella was the upcoming project. It was a movie featuring a young beautiful woman who was struggling with life after losing everything to her stepmother and later fell in love with her boss.

The movie was going to feature many famous actors and actresses across the Globe. It was so far the biggest movie the company has yet to produce. Fans have been eagerly and patiently waiting for its arrival.

The thought of being part of such a project was a sweet dream come through but scary. Elisa was just a few months into the game and had a lot to learn.

" There is no need to hesitate because I know you can play this role very well. You are talented and that is what matters"

Even though Elisa was talented, his only reason for giving her such an important role was because he saw the trending video. The fact that she was related to the billionaire CEO of Heirs Cooperation was a big deal.

Noah Ashton wasn't just anybody but the most powerful man in Garden City. He was the richest billionaire in the city and at the same time the youngest business tycoon ever. At age twenty-nine, the whole of the garden city seemed to live under his feet. Not only was he rich but also came from a powerful background, the Ashton family which was the richest and largest family in the city.
