LIAM'S POINT OF VIEW

The doctor’s lips moved, but for a moment, I couldn’t hear anything. Just a dull ringing in my ears, the kind that made the rest of the world disappear. Then, like glass shattering, his words cut through me.

“I’m sorry… she lost the baby.”

Those four words crawled under my skin, carved themselves into my bones, and burned me alive all at once. My chest tightened so hard I thought I couldn’t breathe.

“No…” My voice broke, cracked, strangled. “No, no, no. You… you must be wrong.”

Becca’s gasp was sharp, and when I turned, her hand was already pressed against her trembling lips, tears flooding her eyes.

The doctor’s expression didn’t change. Cold. Professional. Detached. “She lost too much blood. We did everything we could. But Seirra is stable—”

“Stable?” I snapped, my throat raw. “She just lost—my child, our child—”

The weight of it slammed into me, forcing my knees weak. I stumbled back, running a hand down my face, gripping my hair like if I pulled hard

LIAM'S POINT OF VIEW The words kept ringing in my head, shattering me over and over again. She lost the baby. I never thought five words could weigh this much, feel this heavy, pierce this deep. When Becca and I finally made our way into Sierra’s room, my legs felt like they weren’t mine anymore. Every step felt dragged, like I was walking through mud that wanted to pull me down and bury me there. She lay there—fragile, pale, but still alive—and that alone should’ve been enough to hold me together. But the way her eyes darted toward us, the way her lips trembled as she tried to form the question I was terrified of hearing, made my chest ache so badly I could barely breathe. Her voice was weak, but sharp enough to cut through me. “Where’s… my baby?” I froze. My throat tightened. Becca was beside me, and I felt her hand clutch mine before slipping away. She couldn’t even hold it together. She broke down first—soft, helpless sobs that filled the room. Sierra’s eyes widened at the

LIAM'S POINT OF VIEW I was pacing the length of the sterile corridor, my chest rising and falling like I’d just run ten marathons back-to-back. My heart felt as though someone had jammed it into a vice and was tightening it with every tick of the second hand. Every passing doctor, every nurse who strolled by without so much as looking in my direction, only made my blood boil hotter.“Where the hell is she?” I snapped, my voice echoing in the too-bright, too-quiet hallway.Becca touched my arm lightly, her voice calm but firm. “Liam, you need to chill.”“Chill?” I barked, my eyes snapping to hers. “Don’t you dare tell me to chill, Becca. Sierra is in there! My child is in there! And they’re not telling me anything—nothing!” My voice cracked on the last word, that raw edge of desperation I couldn’t hide anymore.Becca winced but didn’t back down. “Liam… the only thing we can do right now is pray.”“Pray?” I repeated, dragging a hand through my hair, nearly pulling it out. My mind could

LIAM'S POINT OF VIEW The sound of the crowd roaring wasn’t excitement anymore—it was chaos. My chest tightened the moment I saw it happen. One second, Seirra was standing, her hand brushing her hair back in that calm way she always did when things got overwhelming. The next, someone swung something—metal, wood, I didn’t even know—and it connected with her head. The crack was faint, but my soul heard it louder than anything else.“Seirra!”My voice broke before I even realized I was screaming. My legs moved on instinct, pushing me forward, but the mob was too much. The moment she hit the ground, panic spread through the crowd like fire. People shoved, phones were raised, flashes from cameras blinded my eyes, and my bodyguards were struggling to clear a path. I was losing her in the noise.Shit. Shit. Shit. This wasn’t supposed to happen. Not like this. She was carrying my child. My child. And in the middle of all this madness, she lay there, her hair fanned out, blood already streakin

SEIRRA'S POINT OF VIEW Bianca’s heels clicked against the marble floor as she made her way toward our table, her champagne glass already in hand. I could feel Becca stiffen beside me, and Liam’s thumb rubbed slow, grounding circles on the back of my hand.“Well, well, well,” Bianca began, stopping just short of our table. “Sierra Morgan. You’ve been quiet tonight. That’s… unusual.”I didn’t answer. I’d learned that with Bianca, silence was often the sharpest weapon. But she just smirked, clearly not deterred. “I think this room could use a little… entertainment.” And before I could even process what she meant, she was sashaying toward the stage, the clink of her glass echoing through the chatter.“Oh, no,” Becca muttered.Bianca took the mic from the DJ like she’d been rehearsing for this moment her whole life. She turned toward Sabrina and Rolland, smiling sweetly.“I’d like to make a toast,” she said, her voice syrupy and loud enough for everyone to hear. “To my best friend, Sabrin

  • Billionairess By Survival    The wedding: Part 2

The wedding crowd was buzzing. People floated between tables like colorful fish in a coral reef, smiling, hugging, air-kissing. Almost everyone who passed our table stopped to greet me. “Sierra! You look amazing,” one woman gushed, touching my arm. “Thank you,” I replied with the kind of polite smile you reserve for strangers who know more about your life than you wish they did. A couple of industry acquaintances waved from across the room. A man I barely knew asked if I’d had the baby yet — which made Becca choke on her water. I deflected with a soft laugh and another empty smile. The ceremony began soon after, soft music floating in as Sabrina made her entrance. She looked exactly how I expected: flawless in a gown that probably cost more than my car, her hand delicately looped through Rolland’s arm as they walked. Applause rippled through the crowd, but my hands stayed in my lap. Becca leaned toward me. “Her veil’s nice. Shame it’s hiding her real face.” I bit back a laugh, m
