Chapter 71~Kacie’s pov~
It had been a few days since Theonardo had got his chains off, and I had been taking advantage of his freedom, happily able to touch him wherever I liked without the fear of getting burned. We hadn't left the territory, apart from Theonardo who had been going on multiple runs a day in wolf form. I didn't blame him though. His wolf had been cooped up for so long. They deserved some time together.
I was currentlBite Me, My Fated Alpha KingChapter 102After all of the excitement, I was finally able to get Kara to sit back on the barstool without exploding. She was bubbling with energy, her eagerness to discuss the multitude."So, we are going to have four babies! Four! Why didn't you tell me sooner?" she screeched.I shrugged. "I was going to but I didn't know when the best time was.""Duh, like, as soon as you found out." She snarked.Shaking my head, I rolled my eyes. "That would ruin the surprise of it though.""Do you know what they are yet?" Michael wondered.I shared a look with Julia and frowned. "We are waiting.""Wait, why did you look at Julia like that?" Kara glared, pointed a finger at us. "Does she know?"I rolled my eyes. "She does and she has written it down on a card for the day we are ready to find out."Kara groaned. "I want to know now!""Okay, enough grumpiness." Michael chastised her. "Are we done with the vegetables?"Nodding, I made a move to wash my hands. "We are. Ju
Bite Me, My Fated Alpha KingChapter 101Narrowing my eyes, I jumped up to pull the hood from his head, allowing the current fall of rain to drench his hair. He growled at me, shoving my hand away to pull the hood back up."Come on, let's get these stupid gifts." He grunted.I giggled, falling into step with him. He made no comment or move to get away when I secured my arm through his elbow, his hands deep in his pocket."Isn't this cute?" I hummed. He grunted, keeping his gaze ahead as the small buildings of the village came near."What shop is it you wanted?”"The Nifty Nook." I cheered, causing him to groan."Not that shop.""Why what's wrong with it?" I scolded."It's the type of shop you go into and come out three days later to an apocalypse."I laughed, tugging him inside and pulling down my hood. The fair-haired owner I had come to know as Linda, came bristling through a back door, the beaded curtain clanking and swaying be
Bite Me, My Fated Alpha KingChapter 100My search for Aldren started out leisurely. I went to the social points of the pack house, knowing he would not be training he had to be inside, surely? It was damp and cold outside too.But nope. Not inside.Growling with agitation the more I searched for him, I eventually gave up and pulled a coat and boots on ready to brave the cold. Huddling inside the large fabric, I started on the perimeter of the house. If he was not in eyesight, I was going to give up.Halfway around the gigantic building, the sound of the heavy breathing met my ears followed by quiet grunts of exertion. Turning a corner, my eyes found the hoard of pack members working out. There seemed to be some kind of follow the leader work out going on but I paid little attention, scanning them for signs of ginger hair and freckles. He wasn't there which only made my agitation boil further. Today was not a good day.Grumbling, I folded my arms acr
Bite Me, My Fated Alpha KingChapter 99~ Kacie's pov ~I woke up restless. After the vision last night, my mind kept wandering to find out the deeper meaning. But I couldn't find it. Whatever the reason was for these visions to come to me, made no sense. How was I receiving them? How was I seeing someone else's point of view? Someone else's past?I eventually fell asleep as dawn broke, and vaguely heard Theonardo climbing from the bed.A loose floorboard creaked as he made his way to the bathroom but I snuggled deeper into his pillow and fell back to sleep.I slept soundly this time, my over-exhausted mind succumbing to its needs. When I did wake up next, I was alone.Sitting up on the bed, I rubbed the tiredness from my eyes and glanced at my watch. It was approaching midday, the day streaking through the closed curtains.Laying in bed and debating the meaning of life for a moment, I thought about how cold it may be outside
Bite Me, My Fated Alpha KingChapter 98~ Michael's pov ~Waking up in the morning, I felt disgruntled.I hadn't slept very well. Something within me, in the far corners of my mind, was poking at me.I didn't know what it was, but my mind was telling me to do something, to go somewhere, only I didn't know where.Perhaps I should seek out Gaia, she tends to calm the storm within quite easily. With a sigh, I trudged into the bathroom and climbed into the shower. It was strange, belonging to a pack. I had a nice room, got to decorate how I wanted, and I had a three-piece suite.Sure, there was no bath, but I hated them anyway. I couldn't stand becoming a prune and bathing in your own filth.A shiver rolled down my spine at the thought and I hastily washed my body before securing a robe around my body to dry.Brushing my hair, I ran oil through the ends before drying it with the hair dryer.Growing up with women, you learned a fe
Bite Me, My Fated Alpha King Chapter 97 She was here again. In the land of my dreams. I eyed Theia sceptically, waiting for her to move, to say something. But she remained stoic, staring down at her bruised knees without emotion. The silence was heavy, a thickness coating my throat. I looked around the house, taking in the open plan living space once again. It looked the same to the bare eye, but when I walked around, things stared back at me. The too-many dishes in the sink, the scuffs of dirt and small patches of blood on the vinyl floor. The un-closed cupboards and disarrayed clothes and half hung curtains told me that this quietness had been around for a while. If this was a vision, then I knew that I was safe. I slowly took some steps towards her, crouching until I could see her face. She was sunken into the sofa; her face concentrated on her knees as she disassociated. Her hair was shorter, a small afro that reached her nape. Her dark brown eyes were unblinking, but the
