I leaned back against the wall as I saw him opening the door. All my senses had gone haywire, I didn't even feel the surprise when I saw that familiar redhead guy –Seth– and Shane coming inside. I didn't even know how to respond when Shane passed me a casual smirk, Seth giving me a small wave of acknowledgement from behind him.
Seth looked back at Caden and I saw him speak out some words before Caden took out a small card from his pocket, passing it to him.

Skylar's POVI spent the next few hours wandering around the abandoned house. I made sure to walk into every single corner in the house, admiring the old fashioned architecture and the antique tapestries. It was beautiful in a way. I didn't really see Caden around though, except when I went back to the lounge again. After that, I spent my time upstairs.The corridor upstairs was a bit more creepy; cobwebs strewn across the ceiling, gold-carved lamps on the walls, and every door that I opened upstairs turned out to be a room with a perfectly made bed.
