Dave returned to his inn and was touched when he found Angel sleeping in the living room. The woman coiled comfortably there. Dave walked over to her, kneeling in front of her without the slightest sound. He watched his wife's face for a long time. 

“You should have waited for me in the room,” said Dave. He then got up, carried Angel into the room and laid her gently on the bed. Angel squirmed and slowly opened her eyes.

“Ssshhh! Go to sleep, honey,” Dave whispered, then kissed Angel's forehead lightly.

A small smile appeared on Angel's lips. “How about Kina?” she asked.

“I've already escorted her back to her inn,” answered Dave. He didn't want to tell her about what Kina was trying to do earlier. Simply because Dave didn't want Angel to be hurt or disappointed.

“Is she okay?”
