CHAPTER 9 - THE WATCHERS
DORIAN
Its been two days since the battle in No Mans Land. All the dead minotaurs they found was set aflame. Some villagers took a few dead minotaurs and kept them for meat. Minotaurs were still steak anyway.No Mans Land was just a ghost town now with no residence. Dorian hadn't ordered it to be rebuilt yet but he was planning to, he couldn't just leave a conquered land. That day a council took place in the Throne room. The people present was the king, the prince, the mage Lady Lane, the Kings second Allister, Karl Smith who was recently made Captain of the Dornishmen, and Doctor Ross. Sir. Ruth Steel was present amongst them aswell. "My brothers and sisters" said the king beginning the council, "I called this meeting to discuss the matters of the new Land we have acquired from the minotaurs, and a plan of action retrieving the Pnevma back."Never liked those beasts anyway" Karl mumbled."All bodies have been disposed of?" ALTAR It's been a week now, Altar was still in his room under warm blankets. Its been like that since he came to the Winter Land. He had remembered the words of the Healer that attended to him back in the Earth City. She told him to rest for atleast a week to get all his strength back after the wound he got from the Prince. <span;>ALTAR<span;>Altar Cleos sat on his bed that morning after eating his breakfast. His body felt perfectly fine except for the the wound on his shoulder. It still pinched a little, but Altar felt like he could take on the day. <span;>He went out the room and looked for the bathroom, that was his everyday struggle in the palace of the Frosts. When he found it, Marissa walked out half naked in front of him. Altar stopped and stared as the princess walked swiftly looking at him, not embarrassed at all. PROLOGUEShe walked in the passageway full of doors, the solid floor was damp with shallow water everywhere. It was very quiet, only the sound of her feet splashing echoed as she walked slowly ahead.The passage’s lights died one by one behind her as she kept on walking. Diego showed no sign of fear of the place she was in because she had been here before. The sound of singing caught her attention and made her pause. She decided to follow the melody until she came upon a purple light that looked like it was steaming from somewhere, in the shape of a glowing mist. Diego followed the purple mist which led her to a room with no door, the singing had now grown stronger.When Diego walked in the room, the lights that lit the passageway had completely died out.The room was dark except for the purple mist that poured out from the Black Spirit.“Why have you come?” the Spirit demanded in a mocking tone.Diego rep

DIEGO"This is just suicide" Diego reflected in silence. The king and prince were already in tears laughing, so was the rest of the crowd. DIEGOShe was back at home in Theronia. Everything was back to normal and she had her life back. Her father was present with her laughing with her mother Queen Aaliyah Reed. BALONBalon Stone led the two he'd to the Earth Tribe, his home. They walked for a while until they came across burnt posters on trees. Balon went and took a closer look at them, a few of them were not completely burnt, he could still see the information written on them."Altar Cleos and Diego Reed huh" Balon said."I dont remember telling you our names" Altar said. DAERASONDaerason kicked the boy on the chest and he landed back into the shop. He grabbed him by the neck and flung him against the wall holding him there."How far did you think you'd go?" Daerason asked him."A bit further...." Altar choked. His legs had left the ground and his hands tried to get Daerasons hand off his neck but it was no use. The prince unsheathed his long golden sword with his free hand"Ive waited a long time for this " he said."You want to kill me?" Altar chocked, "i thought you wanted me alive""My father wants the girl alive" Daerason said, "youre disposable. But before that where's the girl?""You probably will kill me even if i tell you so what difference will it make?" Altar said."I guess you're right" Daerason said," either way ill find her. I found you didnt i?" Daerason gave the boy a headbutt and flung him away. "Kill him" he ordered.His men went to the boy. The weapon smith was useless.

DAERASONAltar was on the floor screaming as the prince shoved the sword deeper inside him. He had his foot on his chest smiling."I've waited a long long long time to do this" said the Prince.Before Daerason could pull out his blade a palm touched his left shoulder. When he looked behind him and fist appeared knocking him so hard that he went through the brick walls and rolled outside. Prince Daerason tried to struggle to his feet, "What was that? Who was that?"Before Daerason could make sense of anything, a wall shot from thr grounf infront of him, another behind then both sides were covered.'What the....' Daerason thought 'Someones doing this...'The ground beneath Balon opened and he fell in. The prince teleported himself away from the danger.
