Chapter-1

Sakshi’s POV....

No... not again…… I am not going to listen to the whole of that lecture on punctuality again. Not at all. I am damn sure if this time I am caught being late then I am not going to make out of it.

Hey hi… must be wondering who am I??? what am I mumbling???? Who is going to lecture me??? Etc. etc.

Well let me introduce myself. I am Sakshi. Yup, no surname. Why??? Because I decided to leave my past behind. So, here I am. Basically I am a surgeon, a heart surgeon, to be precise and a well-known cardiologist, serving in Gayatri Lifelines Medical Range of Hospital. Whole of the hospital loves me. But there is this one man in the hospital, who loves me a little more. Note the sarcasm.

He loves to find faults and flaws in me. That is his love. Well coming to an end, I am getting late for going to hospital. Apparently, there is this meeting organized by him where all the doctors are to be present.

Well, I am getting late… let me rush...

And with that I parked my car and entered the hospital premises, hiding from everyone, especially him. If he finds out then I am sure that this time I am not going to survive his lecture.

I was moving slowly and sneakily when, “pretty early miss Sakshi??? No????” and I bit my tongue on being caught red handed while sneaking by him.

I turned around only to be graced by his heavenly face. Truth to be told, I have always had a crush on him. Not that I would admit it to him ever. It was not just his hot and handsome physique, but because he had always been a sweetheart to everyone in this hospital.

I didn’t know I was so into admiring him that I didn’t even hear a single word of all the scolding he just gave me. I came out of my Lala land when he said, “why am I even saying all this to you???? You can never change... I am so done with this careless and immature attitude of yours.” And left from there, entering the board meeting room. And I followed him.
