“You make a great aunt.” She smiled genuinely, her eyes twinkling like the less evil version of her mother.

A text came in. The notification bell was set to the lowest sound that my ears could pick up, so I had reached for it so fast while startling Jessica in the process.

“Dude! What the hell?!” She clutched her chest and truly, I could hear the rapid sound of her organ beating against her ribcage. I didn't feel bad yet, whatever was inside her wouldn't cry and kick just yet, so In my own point of view, she would be fine.

“I swear If I gave myself a heart attack and I died, my mother would perform an autopsy on me and find this child inside of me…I will come back from the dead just to kill you…”

“Interesting…” I muttered, swiping to the right with the call that began vibrating her phone, “Now hold your tits, this call is important.”

Something about swiftly sliding out of the chair and walking into the aisle of books made me feel safer. Killian's voice came
