Jake

Sophia walks up and comes to a stop beside me. I don’t look at her right away, but I feel her presence settle in. A second later, our eyes meet, just briefly. No words. She just gives me this quiet nod before turning her gaze to the same place mine is fixed on.

Anastasia.

She hasn’t looked over. Not even once. But I know she feels me watching her.

Still, her face stays the same. Like stone. No flicker of emotion, no shift in her expression. Her jaw’s tight, lips pressed in a calm line. Her eyes scan the field ahead with complete focus, like she doesn’t have time for anything else.

She looks like a damn marble statue. Not in a cold way that pushes people out… more like something you can’t stop looking at. Strong. Sculpted. Beautiful in that silent, unreachable kind of way. She doesn’t even need armor to look untouchable.

But I know better.

I know the fire burning under that surface. The hurt she’s hidden, the choices she’s made to be standing right there, leading like that. She’s w

Okay fam, I need your help! Whose story do you want to dive into next, Alexis, Caleb… or maybe Lucas? I’m planning to start updating a new story right after this one ends (which is going to be super duper soon, btw!!), so I really need your suggestions because I’m torn and can’t decide whose story should be told next. 😭 Also, just a quick update, I still don’t have my laptop. Turns out it couldn’t be repaired (yup, my bad luck lol), and I’ll have to wait a few more days for the new one. So thank you for sticking with me even through these bumpy updates!

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 105

AnastasiaMy side aches, but I don’t care. Not now. The cuts across my arms sting, the deeper one on my thigh is still seeping, but I feel none of it. Adrenaline’s rushing too hard, crashing through me like a wave that won’t back down. Some of the smaller wounds have already closed up, skin knitting back together the way it always does.My body heals fast. Not as fast as a wolf’s, but fast enough to keep me moving.Out of the corner of my eye, I catch movement. Not toward us. Away.Three rogues, maybe four, slinking toward the trees. Their eyes dart around, and their pace quickens like they think no one will notice. Cowards. Tails tucked, shoulders hunched. There’s blood smeared all over their fur, some theirs, some ours. They think they can run? After what they did? No.If they get out of here, they’ll talk. Regroup. Grow bold. And they’ll come back.I push off the dirt and bolt, not bothering to warn anyone. No time for that. My feet pound the earth as I charge, each step jarring bu

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 104

AnastasiaThis is it.This is what I couldn’t figure out before. The missing piece. The thing Pete kept just out of reach. My eyes lock onto one of the rogues. A massive wolf with a thick, dark coat and a long, ugly scar slicing down the side of his neck. I know that scar. It’s the same one I saw when that man came to our camp and spoke with Pete.Anger sparks in my chest, burning through me like wildfire. He planned this. He made it look like a random attack, some surprise ambush, but I know the truth. He wanted to keep us occupied and probably get us killed, while he planned something else.I glance at my hunters. They’re good, tough, loyal. But they’re new. Most of them haven’t fought real wolves before, and rogues? Rogues are a different beast entirely. These ones look wild, scarred up, soaked in bloodlust. Their eyes are glowing red, crazed. They’re not just here to fight. They’re here to kill.“Split in a team of two,” I order, loud enough for my hunters to hear but never lookin

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 103

Jake Pete flicks his fingers. Just a small motion, barely even noticeable, but his men catch it like it's a shout. Two of them step forward like they’ve been waiting for that signal this whole time. They don’t speak. Don’t even look at each other. They just grab Isaac’s body, one by the arms, the other by the legs, and start dragging him across the dirt like he’s already forgotten. His head knocks against a root and his arm flops weirdly to the side, but neither of them slows down. His blood paints a path behind him, thick and dark, soaking into the mud. It smells sharp. Metallic. Still warm. Pete doesn’t give it a second glance. Not one. He turns to Anastasia, gives her a short nod. That’s all. No words, no explanation. Just a small jerk of his chin like, “You know what to do.” Then he spins around and walks off to somewhere behind completely out of sight as the hunters make a way for him. Oh, so he is probably part of the third layer of the defence... the one that always stay

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 102

JakePete’s voice cuts through the silence like a knife dragged slow across glass.“Before we demolish you mutts,” he says, loud enough for everyone to hear, “everyone’s gonna see what happens when someone thinks they can mess with me.”My jaw tightens, and my hands curl into fists without thinking. I feel the shift in the wolves behind me too. They’re listening. Watching. Waiting.Pete stands there, smug and takes a step forward. “Isaac,” he says, voice dipped in venom. “My once-loyal man. Or at least, that’s what I thought.”I glance at Isaac. He doesn’t flinch. Doesn’t back down. But he’s not hiding what’s running through him either. There’s hatred in his eyes. Clear and burning. And the thing that catches me off guard is, that it ain’t aimed at Pete. It’s aimed at Anastasia. That look in his eyes tells me what I hadn’t pieced together until now. This whole show? These chains? The timing? All of it? She’s behind it.The puppet master in the shadows is my mate.Pete’s unkowingly has

  • Blind Alpha And His Unwanted Mate   Chapter 100

JakeThe second I see the movement in the distance, I know something’s off. They’re not sneaking. Not creeping through the woods like they should have... like they have planned to.They’re walking in the open. Lined up. Bold. Like they want to be seen. Like they want us to know they’re coming.Yeah… they’ve changed the plan. The hunters are coming down the south path, which cuts straight into pack territory. That’s no mistake. That’s intentional.I glance over at Mikhail. He’s standing beside me, silent, but I can feel the tension in his shoulders. Not fear. Not panic. Just… ready.“They’re not hiding it anymore,” I say, nodding toward the approaching line of hunters. “No ambush this time.”He lets out a low breath. “It’s loud. It’s sloppy. They’re trying to scare us.”“Let ’em try,” I mutter.Behind us, the others shift into position. Our fighters know the drill. We already planned for this, back when we figured Pete might get cocky and switch tactics. I’ve walked them through it mor
