3 The Plan To Poison Him

With haste, Hailey ran upstairs to drive Hazel out of the house. She doesn't care if Williams would attempt to punch her because of this.

All Hailey needed was for Hazel to leave her husband alone. Why should she chase after someone's husband? Are there no other handsome-looking men out there?

Why then must it be Williams?

Immediately, Hailey got to the door, she attempted to open the door as she held the doorknob.

Just when she was about to twist the doorknob, she froze at what was echoing in her ears.

“What! I hope it isn't what I'm thinking,” she muttered and gently placed her ear on the door.

To her greatest surprise, the noise coming out from the room informed her about what was happening inside there.

They were already having affairs on her matrimonial bed.

Just after she noticed this, she became lifeless and weak. Her grip on the doorknob suddenly loosened.

If someone told her that Williams would one day do such a thing to her, she wouldn't have believed it.

She so much trusted and loved Williams to the point that she never saw his mistakes, even if he did any.

This was the same man who promised to be with her in all circumstances until death does them part.

How everything suddenly changed overnight is what she was still pondering.

No, Williams can't just say he divorced her just because of that lady. He might have been planning to do this beforehand.

Hailey engaged in her second version of weeping. Her entire body was shaking. She was limbless and confused.

Hailey turned around and rested her back against the door. She slowly slipped down until her butts touched the ground and her back remained on the door.

She was bitterly sobbing as though she lost a loved one.

Unfortunately, Hailey was thinking of how she would return to her parents and beg them for mercy.

Would they even allow her to step her feet into their house, talk more of giving her their listening ears?

It would be hard because she disobeyed them. She was seriously warned not to marry Williams, but she wouldn't listen.

The worst thing was that, since she married Williams, she blacklisted all her family members' phone numbers.

This proved that she hasn't heard nor visited them in the past few years since she married Williams.

Hailey sprawled on the floor as she cried her heart out.

Unfortunately, Williams and Hazel, who were inside the bedroom, weren't hearing her cries because their attention was focused on what they were doing.

Hailey couldn't tell how she was feeling at the moment. It was as if the entire world hated her. Her life was a mess at the moment.

Even though she sprawled at the door sobbing, she could still hear the sound coming out from inside the bedroom.

The more the noise displayed in her ears, the more hurtful she gets.

Hailey couldn't endure it. She used the last strength in her and stood with continued sobbing.

She sniffed and wiped away the tears on her face with the back of her hands.

Hailey dragged her feet to the visitors' room to sleep there. It was already night and she needed to rest.

She was exhausted because of the birthday party she attended.

However, the housemaid wasn't aware of what was going on between her boss and her madam.

On the other hand, the gatekeeper was aware of the divorce paper, but he wasn't aware of what was currently happening.

Immediately Hailey managed and reached the visitors' room door, she held the doorknob with trembling hands.

She stiffened and gazed at the door as she was lost in thoughts.

“Hailey, you are trash and a fool!” she cursed herself. “You deserve everything that is happening in your life right now. Yes, you deserve it,” she added before she furiously twisted the doorknob and opened the door.

As soon as she entered the room, she slammed the door behind her and locked it inside to avoid disturbance from anyone, especially her maid.

Her maid would be sorrowful if she discovered what Hailey was passing through. She so much likes and respects Hailey like her biological elder sister.

Hailey gestured towards the bed as she paused with her weeping.

“Tears won't solve the issue at hand, Hailey. So better save your tears because you might need them some days. Just think of the best thing to do currently.” She encouraged herself with her arms crossed above her chest as she stood in one position and fixed her gaze on the bed.

She took a few more steps towards the bed and sat on it with her arms still folded over her chest.

“This is the highest level of wickedness, Williams. H-how will you do such a thing to someone like me without sympathy? You will pay for the pain you made me pass through. I can never forgive you. Not even in my next life.”

She spat out angrily as if Williams was listening to her.

However, amidst these thoughts, something popped up in her mind.

“I think the best way to punish him is to poison his meal, so he can die. I would rather not see his annoying face again. I hate him to the core. He is a devil.”

Just after mumbling those words through gritted teeth, she stood up and chuckled.

“You will be shocked by tomorrow morning, Williams. I will get rid of you. Never would you see tomorrow noon. I don't care if I will be thrown into prison after this. All I want is for you to die and leave this planet and never to be remembered again.”

Hailey was outraged that she couldn't even tell what she was talking about.

Anger can make one say what he or she can't do in real life.

However, judging from how angry Hailey appears, one can easily tell that she meant what she was talking about.

How will one feel after being betrayed by someone you so much cherish and sacrifice everything you have just to help them?

Hateful, right?

The only thing Hailey's mind was telling her presently was to murder someone, and nothing more.

Nonetheless, she was a hundred percent ready to follow her mind.

Williams doesn't deserve to live…!
