Chapter 6 Shattered Heart

I was standing in the college corridor with a bouquet of yellow flowers in my hand. I was lost in my thoughts, my lips were drawn up in a cheerful smile, and my eyes sparkled. I was overjoyed because Jonathan had saved me the day before, proving to me that he secretly cared about me.

“Today, I will undoubtedly make Jonathan my friend, because friendship is the first step towards love. I knew from the beginning that he isn't who he appears to be to the rest of the world. He proved yesterday that he is not a monster by saving me. He is my saviour.” I conversed with myself and my smile broadened as my gaze was drawn to Jonathan.

He rolled his eyes and curled his lips before sauntering into the classroom, completely ignoring me, and my lips drew down in disappointment.

"Jonathan." I dashed behind him and blocked his path by stepping in front of him. He gave me an irritated look.

"Jonathan, I just wanted to say thank you, thank you so much for saving me yesterday." I thanked him from the
