Third Person’s POV

The bald-headed man left excitedly with his saber, and the captain just acquiesced in silence. He did not feel any worry at all, because he only smelled a single scent of a werewolf, and he is confident in the combat ability of his subordinate, especially since they are in their own territory with the terrain as their advantage. Instead, he focused on using his ability to scout around their one thousand meter vicinity.

Jared did not know that because of his cautious attitude, he was not found by the captain of the black robed group. He slowly moved through the pathway while pushing his senses to the best of his ability for any sound, and he did hear something after walking for about a meter away from the entrance of the pathway. The sound of metal scraping against a rocky surface caused his ears to twitch, and Jared immediately paused while subconsciously positioning his body in a defensive stance.
