Third Person’s POV

Samel glanced at the slightly open window of his room while listening to the report of the guard. He pursed his lips, feeling a little restless and impatient while turning around the exquisite dagger on the bedside table next to him. The sharp edge of the dagger reflected the complex and unknown emotions brewing in his orange orbs, and a scraping sound echoed in the room when his wrist paused, causing the dagger to tear the surface of the wooden bedside table.

The voice of the guard that was orderly reporting what happened after getting the instructions of Captain Ross choked before stopping still while looking down to avoid the terrifying eyes of their young lord. He thought about whether he said something wrong to cause the irritation that flashed in their young lord’s face, but the guard could only feel helpless at not knowing what it is. “Young lord, did I say something wrong?”
