Third Person’s POV

Midnight approaches as the darkness deepened in the land. Samel disappeared after rushing out of the inn, and not knowing what to do, Captain Ross with Ken followed their young lord’s instructions to search around the whole border town. They both went to different directions to spread out their searching ranges, and even Jared and General Markus joined in to look.

Jared did not dare to leave General Markus’ side for fear of the latter’s weakened spirit for the past weeks, and the two of them scoured around the wall of the border town without alerting the town’s guards. They took a quarter of an hour to search and circle around the wall, but they did not find anyone suspicious from their high and wide field of vision at the top of the wall.
