General Markus could finally calm down enough to glance back at King Regor, but disdain flashed in his eyes at seeing the other party’s cowardly posture and crazed eyes that are looking at his mate without blinking. The hatred and pain that surfaced after hearing the way his mate died in the hands of the other party was slightly soothed at seeing King Regor’s ensuing mental breakdown.

Priestess Eva also came back to her senses at seeing the cowardly and sniveling figure of King Regor. The past King Regor in her memories that was filled with vigor and righteousness and the ruthless and ambitious one that destroyed her Blood Wolves clan was distorted by this hunchback and cowardly old man in front of her. It is as if everything from before was a lie, and the true face of the other party is merely a coward that fears even the ghost of those he killed.
