Chapter 44

Elena's pov

Running under the shelter of my car, I slammed the door closed. Frantically igniting the car's engine, I drove off to a deserted street. As minutes ticks down the clock, my tears kept streaming down my cheeks and my eyes now being too blurry, I stopped the car and scurried out of it. My head hurts, my hearts bleeding, I feel stabbed. I can't even think properly. It's as if am going crazy, the spinning of my thoughts in my head is driving me crazy. The sky thundered and on other occasions I would have ran for shelter, instead I stayed cause I was finding shelter here too.

I held my head in between my palms as yet again I felt a bang. A heavy rain began to pour, falling down on me but I care less. Her voice resonated through my memories and I screamed, tightening my palms against my ear.

'It was your mate that stabbed you in the back.'

I want to erase her mocking voice from my memories but again, I found myself listening. Listening to how I had been truly betrayed
