Elena's pov

There are occasions where you wake up with a smiling face. A situation where you wake up to a peaceful atmosphere. Whilst, there are also a different situation where you wake up to unnecessary headaches. My mode of waking up the next day after my birthday goes with the latter. The atmospheric situation was rounded with pounding of voices, echoes together to create a noise.

Forcing myself awake, I sat upright on my bed. A soft yawn escaped my mouth and I looked on the bed beside me to see Chase had gone. I slammed her palms against my ears when the noise started again. Not waiting any more minutes, I flung the duvet aside and climbed out of bed as I wore by flip-flops that was at the end of the bed.
