Alpha Damien’s POV:
“Claim me, Damien.”
Hercules jumped up in excitement after hearing her say those words, pleading to be claimed and receive my mark that will make her mine forever.
There was a few seconds of uncertainty and distress. But then when I gazed into her beautiful face, almost taking away my breath, I felt my heart flutter deep inside, and I couldn't control it, neither can I get a grip on Hercules who kept huffing and panting exaggeratedly like it's the end of the world, but in reality it's not.
This is just the beginning of a new chapter in my life.
Years had passed. Years that I wasted feeling devastated over Samantha’s mysterious disappearance. Back then she was the only person I cared for, the only one I truly loved. I even though of rejecting my true mate once I see her just so I can be with Samantha as my chosen mate. But she
Catherine’s POV: Damien suddenly stopped. His eyes glowed and from that moment I knew he was talking to someone through a mindlink. I kind of feel embarrassed now because I just asked him to claim me, and it seems like he’s been avoiding my mark spot although he kept nibbling on it several times. But worry really filled me up inside when I heard it was a matter over Lilith. I haven't seen her for days since I saved her from Damien. I hope it's not something bad. I rested my hand on my chest, trying to calm myself down because I could literally feel my heart drumming through my ears as I walked down the stairs alongside Damien, who was obviously eager to spot Lilith down the hallway. I matched his footsteps, and when we landed at the end of the staircase, we were met by Drake. He was panting, his eyes were wide open and sweat trickled down his face which looked like he didn't kn
Easton’s POV: I called Greg several times, but he wasn’t answering. A few more attempts and I was done. Frustration took over me and I smashed the fucking useless thing to the hard ground. I can hear other werewolves whispering outside my room, hearing all the ruckus. My nose was flaring as I headed towards the door, opening it abruptly. It startled two she-wolves, who I’m guessing are omegas judging from the fucking annoying smell of their scent. Tch. Low-lives, good for nothings. I glared down on them, and they stepped back abruptly as if to make me even more annoyed than I am now. “What are you all whispering about??!!” I yelled from the too of my fucking lungs. “We were not whispering about anything, Alpha,” the one of the left spoke. “Get the fuck out of my office!!” Fucking bitches.
Catherine’s POV: “Ready?" Hunter braced his self and stood in his natural fighting stance. “As ready as I’ll ever be,” I replied, slightly hesitant as I arched my back a little to make my body in the same level as Hunter’s. Hunter, taking the offensive side, quickly sped up and charged right at me. I managed to dodge, but right after that Hunter reappeared in my view, as though he had been able to predict where and what I was going to do next. I felt as though he’d seen my every move, and his eyes always followed the motion of my hands, feet, and legs. He pointed the edge of the arnis with a swish just one inch away from my face. As expected from a warrior. “HOW do you do it?” I asked, letting my frustration take over me as I failed yet again for the 34th time. “Mind if I join you?” &
Catherine’s POV: My training has then been like that for over two weeks. In just a short amount of time, Hunter told Damien I was ready. After all, I did kick his ass several times for the whole of two weeks, and he gets surprised every single time I take him down with one or two simple moves. It was all because of Damien’s advice, and he was the one I had to pay gratitude to for gaining Hunter’s acknowledgement. In the past weeks, I noticed Drake hadn't been around since, and he was completely avoiding me every time I come across him at the hallway or outside Lilith’s room. I pondered over it for a while, and wondered if he had finally given up hopes in me. Still, it pains me that he kept ignoring me ever since we arrived here with my aunt’s pack of twenty other werewolves, and they all seemed to be doing fine. In fact, I saw Damien chatting with Tyler the other day, and they seeme
Catherine’s POV: When I woke up, I was still lying on Damien’s strong arms. He woke up before me, and is now stroking my face gently as his eyes settled on my face. “Rise and shine, princess. Today is your long-awaited day.” He smiled. “You’re right,” I said and sighed. Today is also the day that I have to meet my mother and confront her. Ask her why she had lied to me all those years, why she abandoned the only child she had when she knew perfectly well about the pain of losing a part of the family, and a part of me. When I found out that my mother was alive, I was ecstatic, eager, and even excited to see her as soon as I can get back on my feet. The fates had their ways, and eventually they led me to discover the truth behind my mother’s true identity. Closing my eyes, I let out another deep sigh. “Don't worry, as long
Catherine’s POV: I blinked, staring closely at the crescent moon tattoo that was showing just on the middle of my back. It was large, covering up to my lower back but not any farther than that. “What does it mean?” I asked curiously. I looked at the details of the crescent moon more carefully this time, scrolling over the photos on his phone as I lifted it nearer to my face. “Hmm... Traditionally, the half-moon symbolizes the strength and power of a true Luna.” He uttered, causing my brows to furrow as I took in his words. “But... I’m not even officially a
Catherine’s POV: "What?" The question barely came out with a whisper. My heart was hurting, and his deep blue ocean eyes were making it worse. “I know you heard me crystal clear, Catherine. Do it, I’m begging you,” Midnight refused and rage combined with sadness arose inside me. I, on the other hand, was hesitant to even say anything to Drake looking at his state right now.NO! Midnight yelled, incredibly mad at his request for me to let him go.“Midnight, This is for the best.” I tried to comfort Midnight but she wasn't letting it go.&
Catherine's POV: Drake screamed painfully once again, drawing our attention toward him and we were quick to react. We surrounded his body and without hesitation I stepped in too. After all, this was all because of my being neglectful.“We need to reject him first, so he can accept the rejection and he won’t be in pain for long,” I said to my wolf Midnight. She remained silent for a few seconds, but finally gave me an answer I was waiting for. In order to do this, both me and my wolf should be ready to reject Drake, and choose Damien as my only mate. Midnight sighed a
