Denise looked at that man wide eyed. As she watched, Fey run and hugged him.

"Uncle, you are bad. Why did you tell your secretary not to let us in?" She complained while pouting and the man patted her back with a caring expresion about his face.

"It's not that baby. Why would I tell her not to let in my favourite niece? It's just that I'm so busy and wanted to catch up with some work," he said as he looked at Denise.

Denise felt her legs give and she saw the office spin. She then started free falling and before she could hit the ground, the man was there to cushion her fall with his large arms. Since he was tall, he had reached her before Alex, who had gone to the dispenser to get water, could reach her.

"Is she sick?" He asked looking at his sister.

"No, as far as I know, she has been well since we met and hasn't shown any signs of being in any kind of discomfort. I haven't seen anything odd," Alex answered as she touched D's forehead.
