My eyes flashed open and I looked around me to see what had happened, there was knocking on my door, my dad. Around me there was no Luciano, it had been a dream.

“Son, are you in there?" He asked me, continuing to knock.

I groaned loudly, going to the door. I hadn't gotten over my dream so I still had a hard on, so I opened the door to see dad. "Dad it's pretty early in the morning"

He didn't smile, “Are you sure you're okay?" My heart skipped a beat, “I've been knocking for a while" he finished his sentence and I relaxed.

For a second there I thought somehow he had known I wasn't at home all night. He would be livid even if I had done good enough to have deserved it.

I nodded, “Yes dad, I'm fine. I was just deep asleep I guess" I answered, it was then I noticed movement behind him, a lot of it.

Before I could ask what was happening, he spoke, “We're going out for a hunt, we have to kill one of the most important vampires today"
