Fred POV

Stepping out of the car and slamming the door harder than necessary. The meeting with the hitman had left me energized. The plan was solid this time.

Elias’s days were finally numbered. A dark smile tugged at my lips as I walked into the house, my shoes echoing against the marble floor.

“Jane!” I shouted rudely the moment I entered the living room. “Where the hell is my mother? Call her down now!”

The old hag appeared quickly from the side hallway, looking nervous as always. “Young Master Fred, welcome back. Madame is upstairs, I’ll—”

“I said call her!” I snapped, cutting her off. “Don’t make me repeat myself. Tell her her son is home.”

Jane bowed slightly and hurried upstairs. I tossed my jacket onto the couch and loosened my tie, still riding the high from earlier. That young whore had been a nice distraction, but business was what mattered now.

A few moments later, the sound of heels came down the stairs. My stepmother appeared, her face lighting up with that fake sweet smile she reserved only for me. She rushed over and pulled me into a hug, kissing both my cheeks.

“Oh, my darling Fred! You’re finally home,” she cooed, stroking my hair affectionately. “I already prepared your favorite meal — grilled steak with that special sauce you like, and fresh pasta. Come eat, baby. You must be hungry after handling all that important business.”

I raised an eyebrow, studying her. She was being unusually sweet, even for her. Normally she only acted this way when she wanted something or when Father was watching.

“Why are you acting so strangely, Mother?” I asked, pulling back slightly. “You’re never this… nice unless something’s going on.”

She laughed softly and waved her hand. “What are you talking about, my love? Can’t a mother spoil her favorite son?” She leaned in closer, lowering her voice. “Though… Elias is here. He came earlier to pick up some old files. He’s in your father’s office right now.”

My expression darkened instantly. Elias again and he was in my space. The mere mention of his name made my blood boil.

But then I remembered the conversation I just had with the hitman. The trap being set. The thought of Elias’s upcoming “accident” brought a slow, vicious chuckle out of me.

My stepmother looked at me curiously. “What’s so funny, darling?”

“Nothing important,” I replied, still smirking. “Just thinking about how perfect things are about to get. Don’t worry about him. He won’t be a problem for much longer.”

She smiled knowingly but didn’t ask further. “Good. Now, about your meal—”

“I’ll eat later,” I said, waving her off. “I want to take a bath first. I need to wash the day off me.”

“Of course, baby. I’ll have Jane prepare everything on the dining table.”

I headed up the stairs without another word, my mind racing with dark satisfaction. Once inside my bedroom, I started stripping off my clothes, tossing my shirt and trousers onto the chair. The cool air felt good against my skin after the long day.

Just as I was about to head into the bathroom, my phone rang on the bedside table. I glanced at the screen — it was the hitman.

A cold smile spread across my face as I answered. “This better be good news. I just left your place and I’m already in a great mood.”

The hitman’s voice came through, unusually cautious. “Master Fred… there might be a small hiccup in this new job.”

My smirk vanished instantly. “What the fuck do you mean by ‘hiccup’? I just paid you half already! Don’t tell me you’re backing out again, you useless piece of shit!”

“Calm down, rich boy—”

“Calm down?!” I exploded, pacing around my bedroom like a caged animal. “Every single time I give you money, something goes wrong! First you let Damien fuck Elias, now there’s a ‘hiccup’? I swear if you ruin this again, I’ll—”

“Fred, shut up and listen,” the hitman cut in sharply. “It won’t affect the job itself, only the timing. We might need to wait a little longer before we move on Elias.”

I stopped pacing, breathing heavily. “Explain what ever you just fucking said.”

The hitman sighed. “Damien showed up at the event last night...and he met Elias. They talked for a while and from what my guy saw, Damien seems… interested in him. He might very well be interested in your father’s company and Elias personally. He was watching him the whole night.”

The phone nearly slipped from my hand. A cold wave of fear washed over me. My legs felt weak. “What… what did you just say? Interested in Elias? No. No, no, no! That can’t happen!”

“Fred, calm down—”

“Calm down?!” I shouted, voice cracking. “Are you fucking kidding me?! That monster met him? He talked to him? This is a disaster! Elias is going to ruin everything! He’s a beast! A woman in man’s clothes! That disgusting, pathetic, illegitimate whore—”

“Fred! Shut the fuck up and explain what the hell you’re talking about,” the hitman growled. “You’re not making any sense. Why are you panicking like this?”

My body trembled and sweat breaking out on my forehead. The words poured out uncontrollably. “Because I know! I planned it from the beginning! I wanted Elias to get fucked by a man! I paid you to arrange it so he would get raped and pregnant! That’s why I told you to take your time with him! I wanted everyone to see what a dirty slut he is. I wanted Father and the investors and shareholders to hate him, to throw him out like the trash he is!”

There was a long silence on the other end.

The hitman finally spoke, sounding genuinely confused. “Pregnant…? Fred, how the fuck can a man get pregnant?”

“I don’t know!” I yelled, voice rising hysterically. “But he will! He has to! That’s why Father has always hated him deep down. That’s why he wanted to get rid of him too, but he couldn’t kill his wife’s offspring. I was trying to help! I was trying to make it happen so we could finally be free of him!”

“Fred… you’re losing your mind,” the hitman said slowly. “I think you need to—”

A loud, furious scream suddenly shook the entire room.

“FRED, YOU BASTARD! HOW DARE YOU!”

I whipped around, heart slamming against my ribs.

Elias stood at the open door of my bedroom, face pale with shock and rage, eyes wide with horror. He had heard everything.

Damien POVI leaned back in my leather chair, as I slowly turned another page of Elias Carter’s file. The folder felt too thin, too empty for how much space the boy had started taking up in my head. I scanned the lines again, jaw tightening with irritation.“His mother died just hours after giving birth to him,” I muttered, more to myself than to Victor. “Complications. And the father has hated him ever since… for reasons no one seems willing to write down.”Victor stood across the desk, arms folded, watching me carefully. “We don’t have much on the kid yet, Boss. He is a real recluse and hardly does anything noticeable. He works like a dog for that family even though they treat him like dirt.”I flipped another page, fingers pressing harder into the paper. “Why does someone keep crawling back to people who clearly don’t want him? It doesn’t make sense.”Victor shrugged, a faint smile tugging at his lips. “Some people are built that way. Loyal to a fault. Or maybe he’s still hoping

  • Bound By His Name    Hospital

Elias POVA beeping sound slowly pulled me from the darkness. My eyelids felt impossibly heavy, like they were being pressed down. I tried to move my fingers first, then slowly forced my eyes open. The bright white ceiling of a hospital room came into focus. The smell of antiseptic and clean linen filled my nose, mixed with the faint scent of rain still clinging to my memories.I was lying on a hospital bed, an IV drip attached to the back of my hand. The thin tube disappeared upward into a clear bag hanging on a metal stand. My body felt weak, heavy, and strangely sensitive.Emily was sitting right beside the bed in a plastic chair, her eyes red and swollen from crying. The moment she noticed my eyes open, she leaned forward quickly, relief washing over her face.“Elias… thank God,” she whispered, her voice cracking. She reached out and gently patted my arm, careful not to disturb the IV line. “You’re awake. How do you feel?”I swallowed, my throat dry and painful. “Like… I got hit

Elias POV“Elias!”I lifted my head slowly, vision blurry from tears and fever, as she rushed toward me with an umbrella. Her shoes splashed through puddles, and her face was filled with pure panic and worry.“Oh my God, Elias!” She dropped to her knees right in front of me on the wet pavement, not caring that her clothes were getting soaked. The umbrella was quickly positioned over both of us as she grabbed my shoulders. “What are you doing?! Sitting here in the rain like this? You’re burning up!”I could only stare at her, my body shaking violently from the cold and fever.“Emily…” My voice came out hoarse. “I… I have nothing left.”She pulled me into a tight hug, ignoring the rain and how wet I was. “Don’t say that. You have me. You’ve always had me. Now get up. We’re getting you out of this rain right now.”I didn’t move. I couldn’t. The weight of everything kept me glued to the cold ground.Emily pulled back slightly, cupping my face with both hands. Her eyes were red, like she

Elias POVThe mansion gates faded behind me as I walked down the street. Tears streamed down my face without stopping, mixing with the cold sweat from my fever. Every step felt like walking through thick mud. My chest ached so badly I could barely breathe. How could they do this to me?Fred’s words kept repeating in my head like a nightmare I couldn’t wake up from. He had planned it. He had paid someone to rape me. He wanted me to be pregnant so the whole world would reject me. And Father… he had known something was wrong with me all along but still treated me like this.I hugged the bag of documents tighter to my chest, even though they no longer mattered. Nothing mattered anymore. My phone started ringing. It was Emily. I stared at the screen for a few seconds before answering with a shaky voice.“…Hello?”“Elias!” Emily’s voice was frantic. In the background, I could hear her moving quickly — drawers opening, things being thrown around, keys jingling. “What the hell did you mean

Fred POVThe front door slammed shut behind Elias with a deafening bang, the sound echoing like a final insult.I stood there, chest still rising and falling heavily, trying to keep my expression neutral even as adrenaline pumped through my veins. The silence that followed was thick and uncomfortable. I could feel everyone’s eyes staring deep into my soul — Father’s angry and suspicious gaze, Mother’s curious one, and Aunt Jane’s wide, terrified stare.Father turned to me slowly, his face dark with fury and confusion. “Fred. What the hell just happened? What rape is Elias talking about? Explain yourself right this moment.”I shrugged, adjusting my shirt collar casually as if the entire confrontation had been nothing more than a minor inconvenience. “Nothing important, Father. Elias is just being dramatic again. You know how he is — always playing the victim, always looking for attention.”Father’s eyes narrowed in doubt. He took a step closer, voice dim and threatening. “Don’t you dar

Elias POV Stumbling out of Fred’s room, the hallway blurred through the tears I could no longer hold back. My chest felt like it was being ripped apart with every breath. The fever burned hotter than ever, but it was nothing compared to the agony of betrayal now tearing through me.Before I could reach the stairs, voices rose from below. Father emerged, walking alongside Aunt Jane and my stepmother. Fred — already dressed — stepped out of his room right behind me, his face pale but quickly twisting into fury.“Elias!” Father’s voice boomed through the hallway. “What in God’s name is going on here? I heard shouting all the way from my office!”I turned slowly to face them all. My entire body trembled as I looked straight at my father, the man I had spent my whole life trying to please.“Father…” My voice cracked badly. “Is it true? Did you know about this? About Fred paying someone to rape me? About him wanting me to get pregnant? Was that why you always hated me? Was that what you
