Dante's POV

I paced around in the hallway nervously as I waited for Rosa to come out of her room; she had been in there for the past hour with the unconscious Alessia.

Alessia didn't look like she was hurt when I brought her to Rosa, but she appeared so pale, and that scared the hell out of me.

We had been in a meeting with the board members of the new company I had successfully merged mine with, when Marco rushed in with news that Antonio's men were attacking the house.

Normally, I wouldn't have been bothered; I would have just asked them to get rid of them and stay somewhere else for the next couple of days. But this time, I jumped to my feet and rushed out.
