The fear of losing her loved ones again washed over Elena. “Take me to the hospital!”

Drake turned sharply at the sound of her voice. Elena was on the floor near the door, her body trembling.

Before Drake could even step toward her, the bodyguard swooped down. The man lifted Elena into his arms as if she weighed nothing. He carried her out of the house, straight toward the waiting car.

Drake wanted to follow, but the bodyguard blocked his way.

“Drake, you’re not going anywhere before the police arrive.” The man roared in a hard voice

The bodyguard pulled out his phone and spoke quickly into it, reporting every detail. Drake could do nothing but stand there, his rage boiling.

Far away, Dolphus had just returned home. The moment he entered, the phone rang. He listened and his face darkened.

“I apologize. We failed to protect Elena. But luckily, both she and the baby are unharmed. The doctor said they will remain in the hospital for tonight under observation and can be discharged tomorr
