I was about to take off my attire when Josie stepped into my room. Her face etched in annoyance as she glared at me. My second-in-command wrapped her arms across her chest.

"You can't come in looking at me that way and still be silent, spill it out," I stated, pulling the clothes back properly on my body before settling down on the bed.

A sigh elicited from her lips as she strutted inside, dragging the chair in my room before sitting down on it. My room was dimly lit and every single thing in here had a touch of Josie. She made it her job to decorate my room knowing I wouldn't mind staying in a bland room. After all, I survived years of torture from that insane man that doesn't have the right to be called my father.

"Why invite that thing to dinner?" She hissed out, her eyes glaring in annoyance.

I chuckled lightly, "Because I wanted to," I responded, but the little birdie wasn't having it.
