LOGIN“Your ruin is what delights me most, Little Flame, and I have sworn with the heavens not to let my spirit rest until you are nothing but a pile of dust,” Mikael declared as he strode towards my side. His black eyes were as dark as death itself, and the way they bore into my soul made me shiver in fear because deep down, I knew he truly wanted to ruin me. *** Nyra thought she’d gotten all she could ever ask for, a mate, an Alpha who loved her with all of his being not until one day when her life turned upside down. Her mate wasn’t who she thought he was, she got rejected most crazily and was confined in the cell. She thought her last breath was going to be in the dark four prison walls, but life decided to play games with her when she was kidnapped by her ex-mate, exiled step-brother, who happened to be her fated mate. However, there was a problem: Mikael wanted to ruin her, even if it meant his own downfall. The hybrid wouldn’t mind the price.

Today was supposed to be a pleasant and memorable day for me. It is my fifth anniversary with my mate, but I have been summoned by the court after being held under house arrest for a week by the Alpha.
My hands fidgeted as I stood in the middle of the court filled with elders boring their eyes down on me as if they were trying to dig up some dirt. All of them had the same expression of disgust, but I didn't let that bother me because of the man seated on the throne.
The one who would always get my attention… my man!
He is my light and shield, and I am certain that no matter what these men had plotted behind my back, he would always be there to support me.
Eric Valen, the Alpha of Nightshade Pack, has been my childhood lover. His dark brown hair was the first thing that caught my attention. He'd always been the dreamy guy for every female in this pack, yet an omega like me grabbed his attention and heart.
My parents never wanted us to be together because to them an Omega and an Alpha can never be a perfect match, but we proved them wrong because he was the perfect man for me and we have been together for five years. All their nonsensical theories are nothing but fanatic when it comes to my love life.
Today, the elders started their usual complaints. It was no news they didn't like me. Even most of the people in the pack had probably planned a coup to overthrow me. Rumors fly around like wildfire. I have gone through a lot of storms, and I know this one is just like the others, and I am confident that I am going to emerge victorious.
"Do you know why you are here today?" Eric asked, dragging me out of my reverie. His deep brown eyes locked into my golden ones. A smirk appeared at the tip of my lips before I sucked in a deep breath.
I can't afford to be dreamy when I have to look serious.
Nodding my head in a positive manner, I said, "Because I brought in a rogue child?"
It is very absurd that they would be bothered about this little stuff. The rogue is just a child, and they need to stop acting like I brought in a plague. How do they expect me to leave a wailing child that has been abandoned by his parents? That is cruelty to me.
"Nonsense," an elder snorted. "We did not call you here for scraps of mercy!" His tone dripped with disdain.
My brows pinched together. I darted my eyes to my mate, hoping he would clear my confusion.
If it weren't for the kid, then why was I here?
"You've been with our alpha for five good years, yet no cries of a baby have been heard from your wing," Aleca, one of the elders, said. He was the former beta of the pack until his daughter, Alessia, took over.
His words were like thorns. I clenched my teeth so hard that I could feel them breaking.
My heart wavered in rage. That topic is a sour one, and they can't use that to mock me. I shot my head towards my mate as I waited for him to come to my aid and shun them, but seeing how he was avoiding my gaze, I decided to fight my battle myself.
Eric might be a little sour, and he is trying to control his anger, just like I was doing mine.
"I have done many tests and scans to check what is wrong, yet the doctors kept saying we are both fine. You can't say such words like 'I am the cause of it,'" I responded as nicely as I could in defense.
"Do you think we have to wait till you carry a baby before we get an heir to the throne? We have tried to be patient, but five years is enough grace for you to give birth. Only a person that is barren would waste time trying to get pregnant," Aleca chirped in.
His words took me aback.
They were crude and harsh. I blinked my eyes a couple of times, my breathing unsteady as I tried to digest every word that came out of his mouth.
Me—a barren?
He wasn't even being subtle. Aleca said it raw and blunt.
How dare he try to undermine me?
I stared at Eric, waiting for him to say something.
But he just wouldn't!
Why wouldn't he talk?
Why would he sit there and watch them humiliate me like this?
He knows how hard I've tried to make a baby.
I even went out of my way to visit packs that are beyond our pack borders, just because I heard they had a great healer.
I snarled, anger bubbling inside of me. It was like a volcano trying to erupt.
How could they call their Luna barren?
No… I won't let them override me this time. I have been patient enough. I have taken things that an ordinary person can't take, all because I see them as my people, and I know leadership isn't an easy skill and patience should be one of my attributes, but not this time.
"How dare you call your Luna barren?" I hissed, glaring daggers his way. Instead of the former beta backing out and apologizing for his misuse of words, he raised his shoulders and matched my glare, a sign of defiance, and that is totally unacceptable.
"Luna?" he scoffed. "I doubt if the title would still be yours after today," he snickered.
I paused.
My heart was still heaving hard in my chest.
The audacity!
"What does he mean?" I directed my question to Eric. Only he could explain why his former beta is being outrightly bold to say these vile words to me in his presence.
Eric looked a little bit hesitant. He still wasn't looking my way, as if he were trying to avoid mine.
I parted my lips, trying to repeat my question, but I was interrupted as the door of the courtroom flung open. I turned my head to see who had distracted the meeting without any respect, and it turned out to be Alessia.
She had a devilish smirk on as she swayed her hips, striding into the room like she owned it.
I didn't want to bother myself with her, so I faced my mate, whose face looked ashen. "I asked a question, Eric. What did he mean?"
Alessia cleared her throat. "What my father meant was that a woman who is rightfully carrying the Alpha's child should be the Luna of the pack."
"I wasn't talki—"
"And since I have his child, then I should step up and take my place," Alessia interrupted rudely.
~O'LEAN~Two weeks had passed since I was given the mission. Oh well, I hadn't even gotten a clue as to where the omega with the anti-celestial mark was.Nobody… not even a single soul had any idea about what the anti-celestial mark was. I exhaled as I marched into the market.I was in the Moonlit Pack. As I strode, my thoughts wandered to the first time I had arrived at the pack. The Alpha had been petrified — of course, he had heard about the celestial Alpha and the hybrid's raid.He would have thought we were coming to take over his pack. I shook my head slightly; if only they knew. His place couldn't contain me because of my stature, so I had to sleep outside in a place where no one could disturb me. He also made sure I was well fed.I could have asked him to assemble all the omegas in his pack; however, this was a secret mission. They could think whatever they wanted to think, but my search had to continue."Sir, would you care for an apple?" a woman said. She wore a brown dress
~NYRA~I caught up to Mikael. My chest heaving as I stepped into place beside him. He glanced at me, a smirk appearing on his face."Couldn't wait to see me?" he teased, those amber eyes sparkling. I huffed, rolling my eyes."In your dreams," I uttered sarcastically. He chuckled at my retort, which I found offensive. He placed his hands behind his back and continued walking. His clothes, a velvet tailored material, had been draped perfectly on his body.Mikael walked as if he were born with authority. Very swift and yet calculated."You only asked me to join the court, not to agree to be your Luna," I blurted out. That was exactly why I was here. Ever since the meeting at the court, I had been trying to meet with him.It was either he was busy or perhaps he wasn't around.Frustration had resided within me and I had had sleepless nights because of it."You are my mate, Nyra," he responded curtly. My brows pinched together. "It doesn't matter whether I am your mate or not. It's my choic
~JOSIE~I smashed the glass cup I held. Blood trickled down my hands as I threw the shards aside.I turned my neck to the side slowly, grinding my teeth as hard as I could. The door creaked open and my handmaiden stepped into the room."My lady," she called gently.I shook my head. "I. Am. Going. To. Kill. That. Girl." I uttered. That was a promise I was determined to keep."My lady," Teeyana called out again. I shot my gaze in her direction."What!" I snapped. She took a hesitant step forward. "We need to tread carefully if we want to deal with her," her words came out as a whisper. She was cautious about anyone nearby listening to our conversation. What Teeyana said was meaningful, but then… I had been humiliated.Mikael had raised his voice at me. He was questioning me all because of that wench. It was too much to handle.Teeyana took another step forward, her hands resting on my shoulders. "I know how angry you are, my lady. You deserve to be angry… that girl wronged you, and of c
~NYRA~The large iron door opened. My chin was raised, eyes as determined as gold. I made my way into the room; everyone's gaze was on me.Each one had a different expression. Just as I had imagined, many would not be happy with me stepping into the courtroom.I wasn't a hybrid, but Mikael had asked me to come. He said he wanted my entrance to be dramatic and that he would reserve a place for me.I honestly did not know what he was thinking, but it looked like he was trying to rile them up.But why?Isn't that suicide in itself? He doesn't need more drama as it is, having just ascended the throne. I gently raised the gown I wore — it was an emerald green dress that had such delicate detailing on it. One of my newly assigned maids had brought it for me alongside the silver jewelry.I was about to take my seat beside Mikael, who beamed proudly. His whole posture was quite commanding, as though he was proud of me. He acknowledged me, holding my hands as I took my seat.I didn't let their
