Sophia’s Point Of View

I stormed back into the ballroom, every click of my heels on the marble echoing the anger pounding through my skull. My breath came in short bursts, my chest rising and falling like I had just sprinted through a forest. But this… this wasn’t fatigue. This was rage.

Rage at Julian. Rage at her. And most of all, rage at myself… for underestimating her.

The chandeliers above sparkled with mockery, casting golden light on the grand scene before me. Laughter, music, and polite clinking of glasses filled the space, but all of it blurred when I saw her, Avery.

There she was.

Laughing. Smiling. Glowing.

Draped in elegance and adorned in that dark velvet gown that hugged her body like it was sewn from royalty itself, her starlight-white hair cascading down her back in soft waves. The crown on her head, the Alpha’s King family heirloom crown, I’d recognize it anywhere, glinted like it had finally found its rightful owner.

And beside her, Kaiden… the terrifying, cold-heart

Sophia’s Point Of View“What’s going on here?” he asked, his voice deep, commanding. It wasn’t a question. It was a demand. The hallway fell into a suffocating silence. Avery sniffled against the guard’s chest, then lifted her tear-streaked face to look at him.“She attacked me…” she whispered, just loud enough to be heard. “Kaien… she said she wanted to kill me…” I looked at him, wide-eyed, trembling, my voice barely a whisper. “She’s lying…”His eyes narrowed ever so slightly, a storm brewing beneath their surface.“No… no, please… you have to believe me,” I said, my voice cracking, raw with disbelief. “She’s lying! I didn’t touch her, she did that to herself! She tore her dress, cut her own skin, and—she threw herself to the ground!”I tried to step forward, trembling, hands raised in defense. I wasn’t thinking clearly—I only wanted someone to see the truth. But Avery’s soft, trembling voice cut through the tension like a polished blade.“She said I don’t deserve to live,” Avery wh

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    150~ Two Can Play That Game

Sophia’s Point Of ViewI stood frozen in the hallway, Avery's words echoing in my ears. "Don't tell me you're not only deaf but stupid as well."The audacity in her tone, the smug glint in her eyes, it was infuriating. My breath hitched, heart pounding with a mix of disbelief and rising fury. Did she really just talk to me like that? Me? Sophia Langston?I blinked at her, as though trying to reset the moment. “Did you just… talk to me like that?” I asked, my voice low, trembling, more from shock than fear.Avery crossed her arms, cocking her hip with casual arrogance. “Oh, she really is stupid, so you heard that? Huh. I thought you’d need it in slow syllables.” She leaned in, her lips curling into a venomous smile. “I said… you’re stupid. No wonder you were a perfect fit for Julian. You both deserve each other.”It hit like a slap. My breath caught in my throat. Julian… That name still triggered something raw in me, something I wasn’t ready to unpack, not now, not here, not with her.I

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    148~ I Didn't Know What I Had Until He Took Her

Julian’s Point Of ViewSophia stared at me like I’d just struck her across the face. Her lips parted, eyes trembling with disbelief, but quickly it melted into something far more volatile… fury. Cold, seething fury.“I never forced you,” she spat, her voice rising, no longer calm, no longer sweet. Her hands trembled at her sides, clenched into fists so tight I could see her knuckles whitening.“You were the one who crept into my bed, Julian. Not the other way around. You came to me when you were drunk, angry, and pathetic. You were the one who whispered her name while you kissed me. And you were the one who marked me the very next day just to spite her. So don’t you dare pin your guilt on me!”Her words struck like arrows, sharp, unrelenting, and true.I flinched. But pride wouldn’t let me show it.She stepped closer, jabbing a finger into my chest, her breath coming out in uneven gasps. “You didn’t choose me because you loved me. You chose me because I was easy. I didn't ask for your

Julian’s Point Of View“Julian, what are you doing out here?” came Sophia’s voice, calm and sweet on the surface, but I could hear the edge beneath it.That practiced edge. That calculating undertone she always masked with her delicate smile and carefully chosen words. I didn’t turn around immediately. I stared ahead into the garden, where the cold night breeze whispered through the trees like ghosts murmuring truths I didn’t want to hear.I was still reeling. Still burning from the confrontation with Avery and Kaiden. Still drowning in the suffocating realization that I had lost her.No… thrown her away.“Can’t I have a moment to myself?” I muttered, my voice flat, jaw clenched as I finally turned around to face her.Sophia stood there in a tight emerald gown that shimmered under the moonlight, her golden curls cascading down one shoulder like she’d stepped out of a painting. But there was nothing soft in her gaze tonight. Her arms were folded tightly across her chest, and her eyes,

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    146~ You're The Mistake She Had To Survive

Julian’s Point Of ViewI stormed down the corridor, each of my footsteps echoing like thunder in the empty hall. My fists clenched at my sides, my nails digging into my palms until I felt the sharp sting of broken skin.I had never… never… felt this kind of rage before. It wasn’t just anger… it was a living, breathing beast, gnawing at my insides, clawing its way up my throat. My blood boiled. My vision swam with red haze. Every fiber of my being screamed for destruction.Kaiden.That bastard. The Alpha King. He didn’t just destroy my pack, didn’t just rise like a phantom and erase everything I had built with his so-called justice.No.Now he had taken her. My mate. Avery. I should’ve ripped his throat out right there. I should’ve snapped his neck and burned down everything he owned. Alpha King or not, I’d die trying before letting him keep her.I punched the nearest wall, the stone cracking beneath my fist. Pain tore through my knuckles, but it did nothing to calm the inferno in my c
