Sophia’s Point of View

I stormed into my room, slamming the door behind me, the sound echoing through the silent hallway. My chest heaved with anger, my claws itching to tear something apart. Anything. Anyone.

I sank onto the couch, burying my face in my hands as my mind raced. Ever since Avery left the pack, no, ever since she was forced to leave, Julian had been different. Distant. Cold. Detached. It was as though a part of him had been buried with her absence, leaving me to deal with the shell of the man I thought I knew.

I clenched my fists, the sharp points of my nails pressing into my palms. I was strong, powerful, everything Avery had never been.

She was a soft, fragile thing, barely able to hold her wolf together most of the time. Julian needed strength in his Luna, and I had given him that. I had worked for it, sacrificed for it, bled for it.

And yet, even in death, she was coming between us.

“Why?” I muttered to myself, my voice trembling with a mix of rage and disbelief. “

Sophia’s Point of View“Mama,” I said softly, my voice trembling.Cheryl looked up, her red-rimmed eyes meeting mine. She didn’t say a word, just opened her arms. I rushed to her, falling to my knees and burying my face in her lap.“I miss him so much,” I whispered, my tears soaking into the fabric of her dress. “Dad was the best father in the whole world.”Cheryl ran her fingers through my hair, her own silent tears falling onto my head. “He was,” she murmured. “He was everything to us, Sophia. He gave his life for this pack… for us. And now he’s gone.”Mark let out a bitter laugh, his voice cracking. “Funny how the pack mourns him so much, but when Avery died, no one cared. No tears, no grief. They were happy she was gone. It’s not fair.”I lifted my head, glaring at him. “Don’t you dare compare them,” I snapped. “Avery was weak, a burden to the pack. Dad was a hero. Don’t you dare put them in the same sentence.”Mark’s jaw tightened, but he didn’t argue. Instead, he looked away, hi

Avery’s Point of ViewThe attack had been relentless. When the rogues surrounded me, snarling and snapping their jaws, I had accepted my fate. My wolf was too weak to surface, my body too battered to resist. I thought I would die.But then… he appeared. The Alpha King.Kaiden.Even now, as I stared at him, I couldn’t believe he had been the one to save me, to carry me away from death. Not only had he saved me, but here he was, sitting by my bedside, taking care of me like I was someone precious.I stared at him as he massaged my feet with skilled, gentle hands, his large, calloused hands moving with expert precision. His touch was firm yet soothing, making my muscles relax despite the chaos still rattling in my mind. His thumbs pressed into the arch of my foot. My head fell back against the pillow, and before I realized it, a soft moan escaped my lips. His low chuckle snapped me out of my haze. “Careful with the noise, Snowy,” he teased, his emerald eyes sparkling with amusement. My f

Avery’s Point of ViewI glared at him, my cheeks heating. “I’m not going anywhere until you tell me what’s really going on, Kaiden. You can’t just kiss me senseless and then throw me into some secret hideout!”His smirk widened, and he leaned closer, his face inches from mine. “First of all, I didn’t throw you anywhere. And second, if you really wanted to stay here, you wouldn’t have melted into my arms like butter just now.”My mouth opened and closed like a fish out of water. “Y-you…..”“Yes, me,” he interrupted, his voice dripping with amusement. “Now, are you coming willingly, or should I find something to dress you in myself?”I froze, my face heating so fast I was surprised I didn’t spontaneously combust. “You wouldn’t dare.”His grin was wicked, and his silver eyes sparkled with mischief. “Try me.”“You’re insufferable!” I snapped, grabbing the nearest pillow and whacking him with it.He didn’t even flinch, only laughed as he caught the pillow and tossed it aside. “You’ve got t

Avery’s Point of ViewHe turned to me, a playful grin on his lips. “Want to see something cool?”I raised an eyebrow, folding my arms. “After what you just pulled, I don’t think I want to see anything you call cool.”“Trust me, you’ll love it”, he assured me with a small smile.A sly smirk played on my lips, my earlier anger replaced with a rare spark of mischief. “Alright, Kaiden. Impress me.”But before I could brace myself, the sound of fabric tearing filled the air.My eyes widened as I instinctively spun around, slapping my hands over my face. “Kaiden!” I yelped. “Are you stripping?”A very rebellious, traitorous part of me whispered that sneaking a peek might not be the worst idea.“Don’t flatter yourself, Snowy,” he drawled, amusement lacing his tone.I didn’t dare peek, but my imagination was already running wild, painting a picture of his broad, muscled frame beneath his shirt. My cheeks burned at the thought.“Relax, Snowy,” his voice came, deep and laced with amusement. “Yo

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    67~ You're Naked!!

Avery’s Point of ViewSlade stepped back slightly, his powerful frame illuminated by the silver light of the moon. “Are you ready to go, Snowy?”I nodded, my heart steady now as I met his glowing eyes. “Ready.”Slade bent down on his massive legs, lowering his colossal frame. His glowing emerald eyes locked onto mine. "Hop on," he said, his deep voice vibrating through the air.I hesitated, looking at the sheer size of him. His back was broad and muscular, his jet-black fur glinting faintly under the moonlight. “You want me to… ride you?” I asked, my voice trembling slightly.Slade’s lips curled in what I could only describe as a wolfish smirk. “Yes, Snowy. Or would you prefer to walk?”I let out a nervous laugh, knowing full well that the woods were far too dangerous for me to trek on foot. Taking a deep breath, I grabbed onto his thick fur and hoisted myself onto his back. “If I fall and die, I’m haunting you,” I muttered.“You won’t fall,” Slade said confidently. “But hold on tight

Avery’s Point of ViewHis words made me pause, my heart skipping a beat. There was something about the way he said it, the conviction in his voice, that made the air feel heavier. But it wasn’t just the words—it was his gaze. As he spoke, his eyes locked onto mine, and his intensity was almost too much to bear.I felt a chill run down my spine, the kind that was both unsettling and thrilling. For a moment, I swore he was trying to tell me something without saying it outright. But I quickly shook the thought away, laughing nervously to break the tension. “That’s… nice,” I said, trying to sound casual. He tilted his head slightly, still watching me, but he didn’t say anything else. Instead, he gestured toward the door. “Come on. You should rest.”We walked back into the house, and as I admired the grandeur once again, I couldn’t help but feel like I was stepping into a different world. The silence between us felt charged, as if there was something hanging in the air, but I didn’t dare p

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    69~ Choose Wisely, Maya

Maya’s Point of ViewThe night was suffocating, thick with a silence that pressed against my ears like an unwelcome guest. Sleep evaded me, no matter how much I tossed and turned. My thoughts were haunted by Dren’s lifeless eyes and the lingering problem that was the dungeon guard.I knew it wasn’t over. His silence wasn’t guaranteed. He could talk, spill everything to Kaiden… and if that happened, I was as good as dead. Every time I closed my eyes, I could see Kaiden’s face contorted with rage, his piercing emerald eyes bearing down on me with betrayal.I sat up in bed, running a hand through my disheveled hair. My mind wouldn’t quiet down. Maybe some fresh air would help. I grabbed my shawl, wrapped it around my shoulders, and stepped out of the house. The night air was crisp, a slight chill biting at my skin. The moon hung low in the sky, casting a silver glow over the vast land surrounding the house. I wandered aimlessly, hoping the cool air would calm the storm brewing inside me.

He was the only one who could put an end to this if I played my cards right.I changed into a simple but elegant gown, one that showed just enough skin to remind Kaiden of what he was missing. Maybe, just maybe, I could charm my way back into his chambers. If he would only listen to me.The walk to the Pack House felt longer than usual. The guards stationed outside his chambers came into view as I turned the corner. Taking a deep breath, I straightened my posture and walked forward with confidence. But the moment I reached the entrance, the guards immediately crossed their spears in front of me, blocking my path.I frowned. “Step aside,” I ordered, my voice laced with authority. They didn’t budge.“Did you not hear me?” I snapped. “Move!”One of the guards, a tall man with a scar running down his cheek, stepped forward. “Miss Maya, you are not permitted to enter.”My patience

Kaiden’s Point Of ViewHer hands clutched at my shirt, and she made a small, wounded sound that shattered me from the inside. "I swear it, Snowy," I murmured, moving my lips to her forehead, placing a reverent kiss there. "Even if the world falls apart, I will always find my way back to you.""You better," she whispered fiercely, her fingers fisting tighter against me. "Because if you don’t, I'll come drag you back myself." I laughed, a rough, broken sound, and crushed her closer, my arms aching with the need to keep her safe."Deal," I breathed. We sat like that for a long time, just holding each other, as if afraid the other would disappear if we let go. She pulled back a little after a while, eyes searching mine, vulnerable and fierce all at once."You scared me," she said, voice cracking again. "You idiot." I smiled sadly and pressed my forehead back to hers. "I know. And I'm sorry. I'll spend the rest of my life making it up to you."She blinked, a few more tears spilling free. I

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    119~ I Will Always Find My Way Back To You

Kaiden’s Point Of ViewThe night air still clung to my skin as I dashed through the thick woods, each stride devouring the distance between me and her.My heart beat with a wild rhythm, not from the exertion… gods, no, but from the anticipation curling tighter and tighter inside me.I burst through the last stretch of forest, leaves scattering in my wake, and there it was — the small house tucked neatly under the starlit sky, warm lights glowing from inside like a beacon. My chest ached just looking at it. At what waited for me inside. I slowed my pace as I approached the door, brushing a hand down my clothes half-heartedly to knock off the dirt. I gripped the doorknob, twisting it open. The living room was… Empty. The lights were still on. The faint golden hue cast soft shadows against the furniture, the walls, and the forgotten blanket draped over the couch. It screamed of waiting. Of someone sitting up, long past when they should have slept, hoping — praying for someone to walk thr

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    118~ What If I Say Yes?

Kaiden’s Point Of ViewThe color drained from her face. Her lips parted, a soft whimper escaping as the full weight of her mistake slammed into her. "N-No…" she whispered, stepping back. I stalked toward her, slow, deliberate, every step like a drumbeat of doom."You touched her," I said, my voice low and deathly calm. "You dared to touch what belongs to me.""She betrayed us!" Maya cried, her voice shrill and broken, desperate now. "She betrayed you!""No," I said simply, as if I were correcting a child's math homework. "You betrayed me." The room felt like it was shrinking around her. Her back hit the wall, and she pressed herself against it, as if she could disappear into the stone. Her eyes darted toward the door, calculating, desperate for escape. "Kaiden, p-please," she stammered, her tears falling freely now. "I-I only did what I thought was right! I did it for you!"I loomed over her, my body blocking out the light, casting her in shadow. • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    117~ For Letting Me Know Who I Need To Bury Next

Kaiden’s Point Of ViewThe night was heavy with silence, broken only by the occasional whisper of the wind against the stone walls of the fortress. I stood by the massive arched window of my chambers, staring out at the endless stretch of wilderness beyond. The moon was high and full, casting a silver glow across the jagged landscape, but even its light couldn’t reach the darkness pooling in my chest.Avery.Her name was a prayer on my lips, a ghost in my mind. I could almost see her now — curled up in my bed, clutching my pillow, maybe huffing out a frustrated sigh because I hadn’t returned yet. The thought of her missing me, of her arms open and waiting for me when I returned, wrapped around my heart like a comforting flame. I smiled to myself, a soft, fleeting thing that barely brushed my lips.A sharp knock at the door shattered the fragile moment.I didn’t move. I already knew who it was… the guards. Their presence was as loud as a war drum even when they tried to be discreet. Wi

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    116~ I Thought I Killed You

Avery’s Point Of ViewThe weight of exhaustion pressed down on me, my mind foggy and clouded as I settled into Kaiden's bed. I tried to push the worry from my mind, but the darkness in my heart refused to let me rest. I curled up on his side of the bed, inhaling deeply, hoping to feel some sense of peace in his absence. His scent… earthy, comforting, undeniably him, filled my senses, and for a moment, I allowed myself to be lost in it.But the moment of solace was fleeting. My eyes fluttered shut, and before I knew it, I was drifting away. The world around me twisted, fading, until everything seemed to blur together, and the dark void swallowed me whole. I found myself standing in an open field, the wind biting at my skin. The night sky above was suffocating, filled with dark clouds swirling with angry energy. The air crackled, heavy with tension, as if something… someone, was about to come.My heart pounded in my chest, and my stomach churned with a sense of dread that I couldn’t sh

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    115~ What's Keeping Him?

Avery’s Point Of ViewThe cool night air brushed against my skin as I stood just outside the house, staring into the dark abyss of the forest. The trees loomed tall and silent, their branches swaying with the wind. I could almost hear them whispering secrets in the night, the rustle of leaves and the occasional distant howl from creatures roaming the shadows. But none of that registered in my mind. My thoughts were a chaotic swirl of uncertainty, fear, and anticipation.Kaiden still hadn’t come back.I’d been waiting for what felt like hours, pacing through the quiet halls of the house, trying to keep myself occupied with anything other than the growing knot in my stomach. He’d said it wouldn’t take long. He promised me it wouldn’t. So why was it taking so long? Why hadn’t he come back yet? What was keeping him?“What's keeping him?” I muttered to myself, barely louder than a whisper, as the weight of my thoughts pressed down on me like an invisible force.I looked up at the moon, its

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    114~ I Earned Him

Maya’s Point Of ViewThe words hit me like a slap. The mist around us seemed to freeze in place. I just stared at Dal, blinking, my breath hitching in my throat as I tried to make sense of what I had just heard.A ball. Next week. The Alpha revealing his Luna. To the entire Aethoria. My mind reeled, staggering under the weight of it.Wait… Wait, wait, wait.Kaden was back. Kaden, the man I had loved with every breath in my body. The man whose absence had carved a hollowed-out ache inside my chest so deep it sometimes felt like I wouldn’t survive it. The man whose name had been the only thing keeping me tethered to the ground during the darkest nights. And now… Now he was back, and his first act was to announce his Luna? Not just to the pack… no, that would have been bad enough, but to the whole of Aethoria? The entire kingdom?"How?" I whispered hoarsely, almost to myself. "How is that possible?"The air grew heavy, pressing down on me until it felt like I was drowning in it. I swayed

Maya’s Point Of ViewThe rain was tapping against my windowpane, a soft, persistent rhythm that filled the heavy silence of my room. The dim light from the bedside lamp cast a muted golden glow across the room, stretching long shadows along the walls. I sat there on the edge of my bed, my arms wrapped tightly around my knees, staring blankly at the floor.I should've been sleeping. I should've at least tried to rest. But Kaiden’s face haunted my mind, those dark, emerald green eyes, the set of his jaw, the way he looked at me like I was the only person in the world that mattered. Damn him. Damn him for getting under my skin, for making me feel this way.I squeezed my eyes shut, willing the memories away, but it was no use. Every breath I took, every beat of my heart seemed to echo his name. A sharp knock shattered the stillness. I flinched violently, my heart leaping into my throat. My head snapped toward the door. I sat frozen for a second, staring at it as if it might burst open at

  • Bound To The Cursed Alpha King    112~ There's No Saving Me

Kaiden’s Point Of ViewThe silence after Dalton’s humiliation still clung to the air like smoke. I remained standing at the foot of the throne, arms loosely at my sides, gaze sweeping over the Elders seated before me.None dared speak first.Good.I allowed the silence to stretch, to remind them all who commanded this room—not just by title, but by right. When I finally moved, it was with the slow, deliberate grace of a predator who had already decided the outcome of the hunt."Now," I said, voice low, "let us proceed."Lucia, the eldest among them, cleared her throat lightly. "Your Highness," she began cautiously, "regarding the Luna... have you considered the arrangements for her presentation?"A few Elders nodded eagerly, desperate to move away from the tension Dalton had dragged in. Elder Roman spoke next, voice slightly strained. "It is customary, Your Highness, that the Luna be presented with all honor and grandeur befitting her station.""And perhaps," Elder Winona added quickl
