I ran away aimlessly, my tears blurring my vision. I stumbled severally but still managed to rise to my feet and continue running. The pain was unbearable.

"No, I won't let it happen." I cried aloud, shaking my head as if it was someone standing in front of me. I refuse to sit by and watch as my mate dies.

Looking around, I realised that I had run to the lake that Alex brought me on our first official date.

I stood there staring at the water as it rippled with the evening wind. Tears kept on falling from my eyes as memories of the past few weeks started to replay in my mind.

I was so happy and content when I finally accepted the fact that Alex and I are bound together. Just when I was thinking that I could finally be happy with Alex, Ella happened.

I would have preferred if I knew nothing about it. I would have been happy by his side without having to think that Sooner or later I'll lose him.

It is unfair. It is cruel. I never asked for this. I never asked for any of this.
