Ever since Kayla started living with both me and Conan, she would always cause trouble for me and whenever I attempt to report her to Conan, she would blame it on the pregnancy hormones. There was a time that I mistakenly brushed shoulders with her and she picked a fight with me, accusing me of almost trying to kill her child but like always, she begged for my forgiveness and made me vow not to report her to Conan.

No matter how much I tried to understand her or see things from her point of view, it never made sense to me in any way so I decided to blame it all on the pregnancy hormones like she said because she was a young mother and I have heard that some pregnant women tend to be overbearing and over demanding most of the times.

Day by day, I watched Kayla’s belly grow every day and I did not doubt that the child was Conan’s. I could see the joy on her face whenever she rubs her hand on her belly and the smile would disappear whenever she locked eyes with me.
