Seraphina’s POV

I was married!

Although hours had passed since I was forcibly joined to my husband, I still found it very had to believe. The past few hours were like a dream an it was as if I would suddenly wake up just to realize it had all been a very long, albeit realistic dream.

Lycan Fabian killed Richie!

Even though he had never been good to me and chose my sister over me, I still wouldn’t have wished him death. He was my mate! Why did I not feel it in our bond the minute he lost his life?

Was our bond that weak?

I knew that wasn’t the questions I should be asking, but I couldn’t bring myself to ask the real questions.

Who was Lycan Fabian and why did my father not move a muscle when he killed his beloved son? I shivered as I recalled the life slowly ebbing away from my step-brother’s eyes. Was Lycan Fabian that powerful that even my father could not fight for his position or his son’s life?

I knew he hated me and would never move a finger to protect me, but my step-brother was his pride and he did nothing while his life was being taken from him.

Still occupied with my thoughts, I did not realize our car had stopped until Lycan Fabian’s voice rang in my ear.

“Do you want me to carry you?”

Startled, I almost jumped. Glancing around, I saw that we were miles away from Moon-ridge. Where was this place?

A growl echoed close to my ear and my eyes snapped to his outstretched hand. I swallowed. Before I could make the choice, he caught my arm and pulled me out of the car.

“Where are you taking me?” I queried, finally finding the nerves to fight for my life. If he was going to kill me, I wasn’t going to o down without a fight, I told myself. “Are you going to kill me?”

He stopped in his tracks, turning around to look at me like I just asked the most stupid question of the century. “Kill you?” he smirked, leaning closer than I would like. Despite myself, my heart skipped a beat and mouth dried.

“Goddess, no. what I have in mind for you, my dear bride is much better and ten times worse than what your brother got. Death would be a sweet relief by the time I begin.”

My eyes widened and a shudder ran down my spine.

Ignoring me, he began dragging me inside the house, not stopping till we were in front of a door. Kicking the door open, he shoved me inside. The bedroom was lavish and magnificent. If I wasn’t in this situation, I would have stopped to admire it.

But now, I didn’t have the time. All I could think about was what my fate was in the hands of a monster like this –

“On your feet!” he ordered.

I swallowed, scrambling to my feet before – goddess knows what went through the head of a man like him. Was he going to beat me?

He began unbuttoning his shirt and my heart started an erratic pound in my chest. Was he thinking of doing what I thought he was thinking of doing?

My eyes widened.

Oh goddess. I took a step back, trying to run for the door but I didn’t take two steps before his hand reached out and grabbed my wrist, pulling me back to him.

“Do you know what your father did to my mother?” he growled, his eyes a terrifying shade of grey that was both cold and inviting. I almost slapped myself at that last thought. What was I thinking?

He frowned, “When your father betrayed my family, he brought my mother to this room and forced himself on her.”

What? My father did what?

I opened my mouth to deny the allegation, to say that my father would never do something like that but did I really know my father? All my life, I only saw him from afar even though I lived in the same world as him.

All the stories I knew of him ere what I heard from people’s accounts.

I had no idea who the man they called my father was, so how could I even think of defending his image?

He smiled when he saw that I had nothing to say.

“You married me,” I said slowly. I wasn’t dumb, I knew what this marriage was, but he could easily have taken me as a slave too. He still would have owned me and reserved every right to do whatever he pleased with me.

Why tie himself to me?

It made no sense.

“Because I want t have a lifetime of making you suffer. As my bride, no one dares to come to your aid. No one dares interfere with how your husband treats you. You are mine!”

His eyes blazed and for a minute, I thought it looked black.

He pushed me away, glaring at me as if the mere sight of me disgusted him. I shrunk into myself.

“Get on the bed!” he snapped. “Let’s consummate our marriage. Your parents are downstairs and they will hear how I am fucking Haynes precious, spoiled daughter.”

The blood drained from my face.

No, no, no, no… please. I begged but couldn’t bring myself to say the words out loud. It was as though my mouth was sewn shut. My body was frozen in place and everything went by in a blur.

My heart beat was wild and my throat went dry. I took a frightened step back and a growl resonated from his chest. His eyes glowed fury, rage and vengeance.

Was this really my fate? This couldn’t be what the goddess planned for me. why did she make me to have such ill-fated luck?

“What?’ he asked. “I am beneath you? Am I not good enough for your precious body?”

He laughed, as if the joke was too funny.

“Everything that I went through because of your father, you will pay for it two folds. I told you before and I wasn’t joking. Death will be a sweet relief when it eventually comes.”

With one move, his big hands ripped my dress away, exposing my naked body. Twice in a week that I was being exposed like this, for goddess sake, why?

I threw my arms around myself to cover what little I could, but what use was it? Shame and embarrassment heated my face and body and I was sure I was as red as tomato.

He unbuckled his belt, allowing his pants drop to the ground. He stepped out of it fluidly, keeping his eyes trained on me.

“On your knees,” he growled.

My body obeyed before I even thought of defying him. Tears stained my cheek as humiliation burned through me.

“Look up at me!”

I did as I was told, flinching when I saw that he was now standing fully naked in front of me, his shaft right in front of my eyes. I looked away immediately, heat flooding to my face.

He growled, clearly displeased. “Look. Up. At. Me!”

LFabian's POVThis was a first time experience in the throne room. After many years, I was no longer sitting on the throne. In place of my old chair, two chairs were created using silver and blackstone and adorned with the Lycan Kingdom's royal emblem. Those seats were where my children Zayne and Zaelah were situated. The twins. The future. My legacy. I stood at the bottom of the dais with my hands tucked behind my back.' • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Final Victory.

Fabian's POVIt was a strange quietness that existed in the night air only after storms had passed and died. I observed the Lycan Kingdom that had been restored from the lofty balcony of the Moon Palace. Dark silver moonlight shone on the walls that had been smashed by war. A rebirth of sorts was felt as the scent of cedar and rain rose from the courtyards, and new banners were waved. Peace. I had struggled, grieved and believed that it would never come. But tonight, it was real. But despite the quietness around me there was that awful feeling inside. Despite the silence, Seraphina's voice cracked with warmth and softness, saying "Fabian.". As she stood next to me, with her silver gown glistening in the mist and her hair flicking back and forth. "Oh, how beautiful is this?"As per my words, yes, but my eyes were fixed on the horizon. Almost too quiet." The speaker responded by saying: She had a faint smile on her lips, saying: "You've been involved in wars for too long. Peace

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Eternal Peace.

Seraphina's POV. It had never been so lively in the halls of the Lycan palace.' As the dawn sun set, silver and crimson banners drifted through the air, their fabric reflecting sunlight as fire and steel for the kingdom. With my hands pressed against the cool stone, I watched the courtyards below where hundreds of our compatriots had gathered in celebration at one point on this high balcony. Peace. Despite being an unrealized dream, it now fills the air with cheers and smiles as people clasp hands. I felt a sense of both pride and anxiety as my heart beats with force. I felt Fabian's arm swaying around my waist, unwavering. His presence always anchored me. His voice was low, meant only for me. “They look to you, Seraphina. To us. But more than that to them.”. He looked at the children entering the courtyard. Zaelah and Zayne. Their paths were no longer characterized by children, but rather by leaders who were chosen through destiny and fire. Shabby: Zaelah carried herself with

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Dawn Of Peace

Fabian's POV. But that morning, the dawn was different. Not with the crimson violence of war and storm clouds heavy with conflict, but with soft gold spilling over the Moonridge Valley. It had been decades since I last woke up with nothing. There were no looming alarms, no soldiers were dying on the battlefield and no protesters nibbling at the edges of my crown. There was only the sound of my heart beating against mine, the steady pulse of Seraphine and the assurance of tranquility beyond the palace walls. It was evident to me that peace was never attained in a moment. It wasn't given. It was forged. I arose, taking off the curtains. Banners in the courtyard below, resembling both silver and gold, were not meant to represent conquest, but to symbolize unity. The palace square was filled with wolves in human and Lycan forms, not to protest or fight, but to celebrate. They were peaceful. Living memory: I had lived long enough for the kingdom to blossom under shared leadership. My ki
