Fabian's POV ,

They were celebrating, laughing, shouting and voices everywhere. But I felt far away from all of it. The room was spinning just slightly, the walls too close. My chest was tight. The air had a weight to it like the moment before something breaks.

Seraphina stood next to me. She looked steady on the outside, but I knew her too well. There was a storm behind her calm. Her eyes those eyes that had faced more pain than most were filled with worry. Just like mine.

“We’ve really won... right?” she asked softly, like she needed me to say it out loud just to believe it.

I wanted to tell her yes. That we were safe now That all the pain, all the bloodshed, had finally led us here into peace. But deep down, something didn’t sit right. That uneasy pull in my gut said this wasn’t the end. Just a pause. The quiet before something worse.

My fingers dug into the hilt of my sword, not out of confidence but out of a feeling I couldn’t shake. The cold metal usually steadied me and this t

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Fire Within .

Seraphina's POV The fight wasn't yet finished. The sound of the steel's wailing was audible in my ears, reminding me that we were not outnumbered. Fabian's words, which were from just yesterday, still linger in my mind. "It'll be so much more than just the rogues," he said. They've been working with them. From the start. He had a steady voice, but the silence that followed was filled with the raw betrayal I could hear. The truth that had shattered his consciousness filled me with a deep longing for him. The individuals he had the most trust with had been exploiting us for their own gain. It wasn't just the war we were fighting for, but everything we believed in it. But we couldn't stop. We couldn't afford to. Not now. l held my sword as l stood beside , Fabian as he weighed an old steel and new blade he just got. The intense feelings within me was sharp and shallow . Everything was breaking apart with screams, fire and steel clashing in the air but I didn’t let myself slip. I

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Between Loyalty And Betrayal

Fabian’s POV Everything was quiet, too quiet. The air didn’t move. Smoke wrapped around me, thick and sharp with the stink of blood. I stood in the wreckage, sword down, but my body still braced for something to hit. It was quiet too quiet like the calm before something ugly occurs. What should’ve been our victory had turned into something else something darker. This wasn’t a battle we chose. It was a trap. It was a trap one that sliced deeper than steel ever could.Seraphina didn’t move. Didn’t speak. But I could feel it in her the tension, quiet and coiled, like a scream she hadn’t let out yet. Like the stillness right before something shatters. Her breath hitched, Her stance shifted, She was holding herself together with sheer will. So was I. Her silence said everything and she stood like a warrior, but I knew better. Beneath the steel, she was rattled just like me. It matched the tight pull in my own chest. We were outnumbered, and pinned in. And this time, there was no clean wa

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Final Hour.

Seraphina's POV,Around me hung the weight of the moment. My heart was racing, too fast. I couldn’t slow it down. I could hear clashes of blades and fighting somewhere outside, but it felt far. Like it wasn’t even real.In here, though, it was quiet. Too quiet. Way too calm for what I knew was happening out there. . But inside, my mind was anything but calm. I struggled to shake the fact that had just been told to me. My family's participation in this conflict, in this kingdom's collapse... it was like a knife turned deep into my heart. How didn’t I see it? I believed everything they told me. I loved them. I trusted them. And now… all of it was a lie. The truth was worse than I thought.I looked around. This room used to feel safe. Like I could hide here, away from all the noise outside. But now? It didn’t feel like that anymore. Now it just felt fake? All I saw was betrayal. And it ran straight through my own blood. My family had always struck me as strong pillars, as keepers of the

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Shadows Of The Crown .

Fabian's POV. They always said, “No matter what, the crown stays steady.” but it never felt steady to me. Even in moments like this, when everything was supposed to be good and calm it still felt like something I had to carry. We used to believe the kingdom would be at peace once the wars ended. Maybe that was the dream. But standing there after the ceremony, it didn’t feel real and I didn’t feel relieved. The cheering behind us didn’t match how I felt. It was too loud and it didn’t feel like mine. I leaned on the railing, I didn’t know if I was happy or just relieved and the morning light came in. The flags shifted in the wind. Everything looked calm, but my chest still felt heavy. On the surface, it looked like peace. But deep down, I knew better. Something was coming. I turned to Seraphina, she stared at the horizon, quiet. Her eyes were tired, distant—but still beautiful. She knew the fight wasn’t over. The question remained unanswered as I raised my voice, worried about the

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Final Legacy.

Fabian's POV. The hall was filled with such excitement that it seemed like the walls were waiting for them to release their tension. I stood at the front, with a heavy load on my shoulders.' Our Kingdom was about to honor Seraphina and me. We were putting our reign, struggles and all that we had waged to achieve into the fabric of history. My thoughts remained clouded as the crowd crept around, their voices low and filled with wonder. Although the future was in our hands, it had a twist within itself, and I knew that the darkness behind them would rise again. The world did not just surrender peace. It demanded sacrifices. What are the expenses associated with achieving peace? It was a challenge we had not fully tackled yet. As I felt my heart race through mine, Seraphina was with me, calming her in the moment. My companion, my partner and the woman who had walked this bloody path with me. Still, this battle had yet to be won. From the ceremony to the speeches and promises of prospe
