Fabian’s POV

The war ended, but the pain didn’t. It’s still there on the walls, In the streets and in people’s eyes. Like something’s missing, like it won’t ever really go away. No one came out untouched. The sun was sinking, stretching heavy shadows over what was left behind. Our people had made it through… but at what cost? What were we now, after all the pain, all the loss? What was left of us, of the kingdom we once believed in?

I stood there staring at the throne, it didn’t feel right and I thought this was what I wanted all along maybe it was. But now… I don’t know anymore. Now I’m just tired and it doesn’t feel like victory. It feels like everything I lost to get here is louder than the win. Now it just feels so off and cold, like it’s not mine or like it costs more than I expected. The gold still shines, but it doesn’t mean much anymore.

The kingdom was wrecked, but not lost people though tired and hurt but still breathing. They were still here. And it not just about rebuilding

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Battle For The Throne.

Seraphina's POV. The battleground was a maze of violence and blood, where only survival stood out.I stood beside Fabian and we both had swords in our hands and they were flashing them in the air , displaying how we eliminate the enemies, shadow creatures and any other obstacles that came along with it. The beating in my heart was reminiscent of the battle. Our efforts had been fruitful, but in the last moment, it felt like the weight of my blade was weighing down our kingdom and future. Thank goodness. With a loud voice, Fabian exclaimed "We must finish this now! Seraphina!" during the intense fighting. I glanced into his eyes for just a moment and in them, I saw the strain the crushing weight of everything riding on his shoulders. But his resolve was unwavering and in that moment. That was all I needed to know. We couldn’t back down now. Not when the Black Wolf’s shadow was already creeping over everything we’d fought to protect. We will, I whispered my voice was too calm despite

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The War of the Wolves.

Fabian's POV. Our enemies were hit by a slow, sudden and unexpected war that seemed unstoppable. The storm that was approaching had me completely unprepared for it. The final rogue tribe was assembled at the gates of the kingdom, an unapologetic army without any mercy. Though we were outnumbered. We were tired. But we weren't defeated. Wind blowing, bringing the distant sound of fighting. The last stand was being prepared for by my soldiers, but I felt a sense of the gravity of our fate pressing against me. This was more than just a war for the throne. We were fighting for the survival of our people. "We hold the line, Fabian," Seraphina's words made me lose my concentration. I felt a silent sense of weight on my shoulder, as her hand gently gripped me. The kingdom and our people, all matters and they rested in our hands The weight of the responsibility was more intense and heavier than I had anticipated, and I nodded in agreement. "We are bound to do whatever it takes. We were i

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    A King's Sacrifice.

Seraphina's POV.After Tricia spoke the words back, there was a sense of shaking in my mind.? Alpha Hayes. But then, like a wave of salt water, the truth hit me deeply. The chaos around me transformed into a distant hum as I stood motionless. I couldn't shake off the feeling that a new battle had just begun. My father was the one who orchestrated the betrayal , Alpha Hayes. Behind the rogues, behind the destruction. Each fight, loss and sacrifice had been a show of power with him. My father. Throughout this war, the man who had deserted me, from whom I had long sought acceptance. Was instrumental. How could he do this? What led to the failure of his endeavors? But as this truth sank in, I felt another emotion bubbling under my skin. "... A need for answers. What was his endgame? How much of an impact had he made on this? Fabian screamed at me, his voice was so loud and it snapped me out of my thoughts as I was lost in my thought, though his voice sounded so distant, almost blur

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Betrayer's Truth.

Fabian's POV. The dust hadn't yet to settle. As we could still hear the sounds of war, the roar of wolves and even the sobbing of those wounded . We have fought back with determination and all our strength and also our efforts to regain control of the kingdom, but something was missing and regardless of our victory a dark presence crept in and cast over us. I felt as though the real battle was yet to begin. We had been fighting at the capital gates for quite hours. The enemy was so relentless. nonetheless each time I thought we'd made a comeback or gained more grounds, the darkness slowly began to draw in on us and also it seemed like it was pulling the fight back into the darkness. The battle wasn’t just for the throne, at a point l got worried about it. Although there was something else, I couldn't quite put into words. I surveyed the battlefield, my instincts were screaming toward me my thoughts were racing me. The atmosphere became more crowded with unanswered questions. I felt

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The King's Last Stand.

Seraphina's POV. There was an overwhelming presence of smoke and a strong, bloody aroma, which mixed with the scent of fear like omen. The scene felt very familiar as the capital, our last bastion of hope, the stronghold was falling apart. The walls that had safeguarded us from our adversaries were crumbling under the weight of the rogue invasion. However, the conflict continued to unfold. We knew we were safe from our enemies, but the walls that had stood tall were crumbling under the weight of the rogue invasion. But the fight continued. As stood at the edge of balcony, with my gaze fixed on the chaos below. The sight of my kingdom being overrun filled up me with rage, but it was not just the loss of my home that hurts. Our efforts to achieve peace, defeat and sacrifice were ultimately unsuccessful. Those sacrifices were fruitless. "Seraphina, it's time," Fabian called out from behind. His solidity and strength encapsulated my presence in the chaos.' I remained still without t

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    Unmasking the Enemy.

Fabian's POV. The battle currently raging on around me didn’t stop. yet clashing of steels and people screaming with blood everywhere. I was fighting with everything I had, but it wasn’t just that. There was something else in the air, I hadn’t fully understood yet, a truth that felt just within reach, like the moment of realization was finally coming. Something I couldn’t quite place a name to yet the truth we were on the edge of, and I could feel it, just out of reach.Within me, a constant battle of violence and bloodshed. Despite my best efforts, there was something more than the steel battle and the scent of death in the air. It felt like we were at the tip of a truth, something I had never disclosed before, but which was close to being. We’d been pushing and fighting through the rogues stronghold for what felt like hours, taking down rogue after rogue . Our warriors we shouting and orders were yelled and were moving as one. But no matter the chaos surrounding me, somethin
