Fabian's POV

Though none of that reached me, the gates of the kingdom rang with the thundering clatter of steel and the frantic shouts of fight. In the quiet of the now, the weight of what I was up against pressed in from all sides, an invisible force choking my every breath. I had always known my past would come back to haunted me, but now, standing on the brink of all I had accomplished, I realized it wasn't the realm or the rogue ruler threatening to bring me to my knees.

It was myself.

For so long, I had fled it. Concealing it beneath ambition, power and loyalty layers. But standing here, with the thud of the battlefield all around me, the only thing louder than the war was the thud of my heart racing, the recollections of errors constructed this moment.

Fabian! Her presence cut through the fog like a lifeline and broke my concentration. Though her eyes revealed something else, her face was worriedly sketched. Fear. Not only for the fight we were waging but also for what lay ah

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King     Rebuilding What Was Lost .

Seraphina’s POVThe air reeked like dust so sharp and dry, it made the whole place stuffy and the sound of hammers drumming through the streets. The kingdom was trying to build itself back together gradually the palace walls were going up again where they had once been broken. I stood there watching and I should have felt hopeful, but I didn’t. My chest felt heavy like something about it just didn’t feel right. Something was off. It should have felt like peace but it didn’t.Their laughter, their shouts and the rhythm of their tools, should have been comforting. It should have told me we were safe again. But instead, it felt so fragile like a flame fluttering in the wind. For every brick laid, I couldn’t stop wondering what shadows might be waiting to tear it all down again. Beneath the sound of rebuilding, there was an unusual silence that seemed too heavy to be ignored like every stone set in place was leading us toward something larger and something darker waiting just beyond the

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    The Storm Before Dawn.

Seraphina's POV. It was a rebuilding process, wall by wall, and stone by brick. They heard hammers against stone, the murmurings of people working together and those crackling of fire in the hearths. The people were gripped by a stillness that permeated even in the midst of their work, despite the fragile progress made. Everybody seemed to be anticipating something. And so was I. We were positioned on the palace balcony, with Fabian by my side, and observed the workers below. After a long period of darkness, the sun appeared to light up new streets, and the first stars seemed to break through the fog. The peace that had been established was fragile. Nonetheless, it seemed fragile indeed. Too fragile. I asked, "Will it be enough to last?" with a barely audible voice. The topic of my inquiry was not the kingdom's walls or its reconstruction. I was not asking about our relationship, but rather the commitment we made to move forward from the past. Fabian maintained a fixed stare at t

  • Bound To The Ruthless Lycan King    :The Final Judgment.

. Seraphina's POV. The sounds of the fight still resonated in the air.' The steel battle and the warrior cries had subsided, but their impact still felt like the weight of a heavy rain cloud. I found myself in the middle of a noisy palace courtyard, with the remnants still present, but there was no hope. Those decisions that were made at this time would have major implications for the kingdom's future. I was seated before the individuals who had fought for our lives, kneeling in the dust. . In the past, they were friends and sisters, but now they are the adversaries we had aimed at defeating. Their faces stained with blood, spirits were shattered, and fate seemed uncertain. Felt a constant pain all over my heart, the weight of death on my chest and. Fabian called out "Seraphina" from behind me. It wasn’t until I had turned and stood there that I knew he was there, standing tall with the same kind of energy which made me trust him all the time. Even with his comforting presence, I

Now it was nothing but ruins walls crumbled, streets empty, and silence where life used to thrive. The core of this area was shattered. It was at the height of its power when I felt a sort of ancient awakening within me. The feeling was intense and there was a primal attraction within me that I had been keeping quiet. The sensation was raw, forceful and powerful it felt like the very moon tones within me were whisperings of an invitation to accept destiny. But with every surge of power came the heavy weight of its price. In the middle of the storm, I could feel my Lycan King’s power burning through me, much stronger than ever, though dark and twisted.
