A few hours after Raegon leaves the dungeon, the sound of iron gates scraping open drags me out of a shallow sleep.

I had cried myself into that sleep.

My head still aches and my eyes burn when the guards step inside my cell again.

Without a word, they pull me to my feet and cuff my wrists once more. The cold metal bites into my skin as they lead me out of the dungeon and up the stone stairs.
