Chapter 74: The Alpha’s Court

Charles

“I have called you all here because of Anders, my brother.” For the first time, he looked startled, and a little bit concerned of what was happening.

“And what exactly happened, Alpha.” One of the elders asked politely, his words laced with curiosity.

“That's a good question. Thank you for that question.” I stared back at Anders with a smile, fears were slowly creeping in his eyes, his hands were slowly shaking, and his posture wasn't stable anymore. He was shaking, although he was trying his best to not let it show.

But I can tell fear has been inflicted in his eyes, all over his body.

“I should be out of here,” he uttered with a fret tone, attempting to walk away when Alex stopped him.

“It's best you wait until the Alpha is done with his words.” Alex snapped at him with a serious gaze which he quickly abided by.

“Alright! Proceed with your words.”

I clapped my hands together and made whistling sounds which pulled everyone's attention and m

Chapter 75: Stripped and ShamedIRIS Indeed, people are so full of surprises. Who thought Ander could twist and gaslight the situation? I was having empathy with him earlier, over the punishment he might receive the moment he is exposed but I don't think I do anymore. Honestly, it's now I'm really seeing his true colours. The person he was. And I'm glad I regained my memories on time, before it was too late because someone like him is truly capable of making sure you're dead for the second time before officially letting you go. In the next few minutes, Ander totally tries to twist the words and gaslight the situation. He started by saying Charles hated him so much and since he wanted him gone, he is pulling this act in front of everyone just to get rid of him. “I have known you have always hated me but I had no idea the hate was this raw and deep.” Leaving everyone bewildered, he knelt down beside Charles and grabbed his legs, letting out a whimpering sound, like that of a child

Chapter 73: All Eyes on the TraitorAnder Something is definitely happening. Nothing is a coincidence here. Imagine waking up from terrifying horrific dreams, only to be summoned to the Alpha hall. I feel like something bad has happened, something that has to do with my presence and attention. TheThe message didn't really come from Charles, my brother. If not I would have concluded he is planning something, but the message came from one of the elders I trusted the most. The one who works under me and obeys me like his Alpha. So I'm certain he wouldn't send me this kind of message if it would be harmful to me. I'm sure he would never betray me, or yield to another that will lead to my downfall. After settling for a while, I picked up two pieces of clothes and picked them up, then dashed to the Alpha hall. I had promised myself never to go to that Alpha hall again except I am there to lead the people as the Alpha, rather than being summoned by the Alpha, as his people. But for El

Chapter 72: From Mate to EnemyAnder Just because I'm actually nice towards her these days doesn't mean she should touch me however she wants. She might have bred a child for me, but that doesn't mean I would love to go through that process with her again. She's just a baby breeder to me. Funny enough, we had that child, out of carelessness. If we were careful, she wouldn't have gotten pregnant out of something we were doing for me. I guess she was just desperate to claim me by force, that's why she let the pregnancy grow without terminating it, knowing fully well she was my father's mistress. “Am I not allowed to touch you?” her lips pressed into thin lines, a sense of failure and disappointment in her eyes as she pinned her back to the wall. “When will you realize you can never have iris no matter how hard you try? She belongs to Charles. Her real mate. Can't you see how she chooses you over him when she hasn't regained her memories?” Her words made my stomach drop, my head ha

Chapter 71: From Brother to BetrayerCHARLES Merely looking at her, she has no idea how much I love her and how far I would go in killing whoever was behind the incident. If such a person is really capable of murdering my mate, then I guess, I'm the next in line. We don't go easy on murderers, instead, we kill them. I know what she's doing. She's so adamant in telling me who this enemy is. And unfortunately, her reason is no other than fear. She's afraid. Terrified of what I will do to this particular person if she tells me. And judging by her expression, this person is close by. I'm predicting one person, one very person who's more than capable of such a thing but I just want her to confirm my instincts. My thoughts. She was still hesitating to tell me who it was. Although it made me furious, I wouldn't blame her. “ Please iris,” I have no choice but to bow, to indicate to her how important this matter is and it's best she reveal the culprit. “You know the person,” she murmure

  • Bound by Fate: The Slave Omega's Dilemma   When Memory Returns

Chapter 70: When Memory ReturnsIRIS I felt an excruciating wave of pain flooding through my head as my memories flopped back in a second. And then it stays in a minute and hopefully forever this time. I remembered it all. What led to the accident. The person behind it and how I lost my wolf in the process. I remembered the way my body hit the rocks below and how the darkness swallowed me whole for a second. How I stayed down there, thinking I was already dead only to be rescued by the Luna of the shadow pack. My legs quivered at the thought of this. My body is shivering. Charles already has an idea of what is going on, so he just hugs my body tightly like a mother holding onto her child in her arms to keep warm. Of course,he was truly my mate. The man I had dreamed of, the man I have so many memories with but couldn't remember any of it. The Man who I hated then due to rumours not knowing he was actually my mate. “It's okay,” his soft voice made my wolf stirred up in happiness.
