“What do you think about us going on a vacation??” Daniel suddenly asked while we're having dinner together.

It's the third day after the rain and Daniel has been kind to me, even though he's still holding back.

He surprised me by coming home early today just to have dinner with me.

Now, he's giving me another surprise by asking me on what I think about us going on a vacation.

“You want us to go on a vacation??” I asked.

“You didn't answer my question” he replied. “What do you think about going on a vacation with me?? It's just for a week.”

“Sounds cool” I replied.

Really cool. At least, I'd get to clear my head.

I laughed inwardly at that thought. Clearing my head wouldn't be possible since the person making me stress mentally and emotionally is also going on the vacation with me.

But still, I needed a change of environment.

I needed something new. Something fresh. Maybe we could start all over again.
