Elli woke up to a light touch on her cheek and she slowly opened her eyes. She sat up abruptly when she realized that her head was on SJ’s lap. She brushed her hair away from her face and looked at him sternly.
“You looked uncomfortable,” he reasoned innocently. “I had no choice. I don’t have a pillow with me here for you to sleep on.”
“Have we arrived?” She asked instead as she sat up straight, looking out the window.
“We just arrived,” SJ answered remotely as he opened the car door and went out. He offered his hand to her and gently assisted her out. “I had breakfast ordered. It’s best you eat first.”
