Elli moved quietly around SJ’s house a few hours after she had arrived from Kincaid Tower, bringing along her things. She sat on the chair at the terrace and stared blankly at the garden for a long while. She then covered her face with her hands as tears finally spilled down as she recalled the conversation she has with Florence.

“Elli, I don’t know how to tell this to you,” Florence started patiently. She looked at Elli with a sad look. “But, with the ongoing news right now, the board has decided to take you off the team for a while until everything is over. I was not in agreement with it, but it was a majority vote.”
